Worst practice and staff I have ever come across. Receive a letter how they would like to carry out an annual check for my elderly mother. We had booked this appointment 3 times and each and every time we get a phone call around a week prior to say it has been cancelled or rescheduled.

I have today just had the 4th phone call today to say the most recent appt has also been rescheduled. When I told the staff we are in the process of moving her to a different practice and explained the reasoning (whilst on this 4th rescheduling phone call) all I got was oh Ok.

Shows how much they value their patients.
Disgusting.
Doctors are usually great if you can ever see one.

This surgery needs to be shut down. No permanent doctor there ever. Impossible to get an appointment here because despite ring at 7.59am still phone doesn't get answered till 8.05am and then theres no appointments left. Most doctors dont know what they are doing. I had one that checked my husbands urine and was asking me if i thought my husband had an infection by looking at the stick!! Excuse me thats why I've bought im to you. And most of the doctors are pretty rude too.

Can never get an appointment and the rude receptionist referred to my newborn baby as an IT three times in the same phone call - even after correcting her and saying HE. Oh and she refused him an appointment at 2 weeks old because I wouldn’t give her a reason for needing the appointment - are these receptionists medically trained?

Absolute shambles of a surgery. There phones lines are always off during the morning emergency call times. Mist time no option to hold just an engaged tone. One of the receptionist is extremely rude and argumentative

I asked receptionist if our late Son was registered with them beating in mind I'd rung several other practices who were happy to give me the information. Nelson practice refused due to data protection which is not necessary for a deseased patient and also not required for asking if he was registered there.
They would benefit from some training in compassion and also the data protection rules.

Have to echo the vast majority of reviews on here. Robots for receptionists.... although I feel robots would be more sympathetic. Impossible to get an appointment or phone consultation. I managed to get through at 8.02 am one day to be told there were no appointments tments left and to call back next week. This place needs to be shut down. If not then the receptionists need training in how to be human. Joke of a place!

Usually good as when I get appointments I do get through to a decent doctor. They take bloods very well as I'm one that they usually struggle on in hospitals etc. However I agree with some of the comments on here saying that the reception staff can be rude and condescending, I only know one that is brilliant. Can't understand why you get cut off when waiting inline for 20+ mins for the line to cut off. Suppose to open at 8am, is now 8.30 and the line is saying surgery is now closed. How? Can someone from the surgery please explain this as I can't get through for my blood results. This isn't the first time this has happened either.
