Lensfield Medical Practice

I've been with the practice since 2015 and have been very happy with them. The new online system since COVID and virtual consultations has been a great addition actually. It's a large practice, so you don't always see the same doctor, but I'd rather have a specialist aligned to my needs anyway.

Great service and healthcare provision across all staff ranging from telephone calls, receptionists and doctors.
I recently relocated to Cambridge and registered as a new patient. Surprisingly received a phone call and booked me in to see a Dr in the same morning I submitted my application for new patient registration alongside an online request for Dr's review (it may be that my clinical issue was significant to warrant an urgent review).
The receptionists I spoke to on the telephone and at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Dr P actively listened to my history, concerns and expectations and clearly explained his management plan.
Overall great impression of the services I have received, beyond my expectations.

Wonderful practice. You use an online portal to raise a medical issue / request a prescription / raise administrative queries. Always get a response within an hour so and an appointment/prescription the same day. F2F appointments are offered where necessary and have always been offered on the same day. Doctors and nurses are super friendly (bar one doctor whose name I can’t remember) and don’t rush you. Receptionists are friendly too. Only issue is that they don’t have parking so you need to pay for parking on Lensfield Road, which isn’t really the practice’s fault. They also registered me quickly. 100% recommend.

Walked in to register on a Monday, was told I could try for an appointment online so I went and did that the same day. Got a text for an appointment on the Thursday that week. Was easily able to reschedule it to fit me. When I went for the appointment, the GP was really kind and helpful. Just an all round great experience.

Everyone at the practice is very friendly and caring. Dr. William was very considerate of my dietary requirements arising due to religious practice as I can't have pork/gelatine. Dr. William discussed with me the different options available and prescribed me medications which didn't contain the said element. He went above and beyond to provide patient centred care rather than treating a medical condition. I really appreciate his thought and consideration to my religious beliefs. Thank you for your kindness.

I can only say positive things about this practice. It is like night and day in comparison to where I was registered before. The reception staff are quick to answer the phones, friendly, and helpful. My Dr is very supportive and checks in with me regularly. Thank you, Lensfield Medical Practice!

From the PSAs to the GP partners, they are always kind, responsive, professional.
Dr Perrett is an excellent doctor, who, despite his workload, always has time to listen and address every health issue in a thorough manner, something which, in this climate, we should not take for granted.
