I have been with this surgery since the day I was born. Although the doctors have changed over the years haven't made a difference at all. They are all very professional and so helpful. Sharon is amazing who I first saw after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer, when she was a district nurse, now going up in the world and still the same caring person.

Always feel in safe hands with Alexander House surgery and always manage to get through fairly quickly with the doctor calling me back the same day. Dr Watts and Pip are dedicated and caring to my son, who has additional health issues, and have been exceptional in ensuring he has got the right medical care. All staff are so friendly and professional and we feel lucky to have such a fantastic GP surgery!

A wonderful surgery. All the staff, receptionists, nurses, and GPs, have continued to be friendly, helpful, and efficient during these difficult times. I have nothing but praise for all of them.

Having a baby, as a new mum, you want the best health service for your baby, which I can not say that I found to this surgery. Lack of communication between staff members, appointments and test results taking too long make me decide to move to another surgery.

Yesterday I experienced the very best that the NHS can offer-from a 111 call in the morning to an appointment with the lovely nurse Avril in the afternoon who consulted with Dr Watts to confirm her diagnosis. I cannot fault any of them and am only sorry that I have believed media tales previously and not even tried to get in touch about other problems. 5* plus, especially to Avril-and I loved her dress!

As a lot of Doctors receptionist's do not tend to receive very good press, I just wanted to share my experience with others. I am due to have an operation next week and after having my pre-op assessment last Friday, I received a call from the hospital on Saturday morning to say that there was an issue with one of my results which needed urgent attention from my GP. I called the surgery on Monday morning and the lovely lady on reception took all of the details and said someone would call me back, which they did within 2 hours. Later that day I received another call from the hospital regarding another issue which could prevent my operation from going ahead. Again, I called the surgery and another lovely lady, different to the morning receptionist, dealt with the issue and it was all resolved by Dr. Watts the following morning as promised.
Again, I can't rate this surgery highly enough and I want to say a massive thank you to the receptionists, and Dr Watts, who calmed a very worried and stressed patient down. You are all amazing.

Very disappointed with this surgery for more than one reason 1st one is i had an appointment with Sharon a few weeks ago for myself as was feeling anxious and worried about my general health etcshe seemed very flippant and like her mind was else where like she wasnt even with it. Told me i had to do things on a checklist what she advised or she would see me again until i did.

2nd one was i had sinusitis 10 days ago was feeling very under the weather etc Doctor refused to see me and told me she wouldn't until i had a PCR test even though i knew it wasnt covid19 after having it when plandemic first started and i wasnt showing any of the symptoms for covid19 and i knew my own body. I felt the receptionist and doctor were very unhelpful and changed there attitude towards me and were very rude as i refused to get a PCR test on the doctors request.

3rd one i called for my daughter today as she had breathing difficulties last night where paramedics had to attend they advised i should call GP in the morning which i did i did miss 2 calls from the doctor but there was no voicemail left for me to advise on what i should do for my daughter next or whether she will be seen or will be prescribed antibiotics as she has very a loose mucus cough like she has a chest infection or viral wheeze like she has had previously! I tried to call the surgery back 10mins before they were due to close but phone lines has been transferred to Voicemail and i couldn't even speak to anyone!!!

I've never known a surgery like this where you are on hold for 25mins to then be told you wont be seen or your not listened too as a patient and the government guidelines are still ruling no face to face appointments even though majority of people now are double vaccinated over the needs of people who generally need to be seen or need treatment and when you finally get an appointment you have to wait 2 weeks for it regardless of whether its serious or not!! Its disgusting

We switched from Voyager (previously Milestone surgery) to Alexander House after the most awful experience with Voyager (we loved them when they were Milestone). My daughter had been seen by the Dr at Voyager ONCE in 2 years. She has ASD, hearing issues, was at the time... an extremely delayed walker and had constipation issues. Voyager kept telling us they weren't concerned and refused to see us. Since switching to AHS a few months ago, we've had 2 phone calls off the back of 2 econsultations, seen once (with a follow up appointment booked and a appointment with the nurse booked). Already, we've been listened to, acknowledged and helped! So far, so great. Voyager can learn a thing or two!! Even by reading Voyagers response to negative comments on Google (very blasé and not at all interested) Vs Alexander Houses response to negative comments, that should tell you everything you need to know. Well done Alexander House Surgery, please keep it up
