The best surgery I have ever dealt with.
I can understand now why people love to this area!!!
Amazing doctors and staff, very quick appointments as well.
Thanks to Dr. Lock who has helped me a lot.

I have never experienced such good service in terms of efficiency, good communication and professionalism from a GP surgery. I can always get an appointment really easily, I can always get through to reception without an issue (used to spending ages on hold just to get thru at other GP surgeries so this is unheard of for me). If I email, someone always responds to me the same day. When the NHS is so stretched and I'm sure they are so busy, I'm really amazed at the level of service I've received. They even do blood tests here which isn't the case for a lot of practices. Really helpful and I'm so glad this is my practice. The doctors and the nurses are fab.

The surgery was good but the service in the pharmacy was extremely slow and they didn't appear to be too busy

How lucky we are with this practice!
I never have a problem in getting an appointment here, whether face-to-face or by phone. They have a variety of GPs in training, who appear to be well supervised, and who seem to have all the latest training and knowledge. All the partners are very able, know their stuff, and are very courteous and approachable.
The attached pharmacy is a bonus. Their pharmacists can advise on many medical matters, saving a further appointment with the doctors.

Really excellent practice in every way - staff are professional, efficient, courteous and helpful. We consider ourselves very fortunate to live in the practice’s catchment area, which is one reason we would not consider moving to another area. Dr Lock has been my GP for many years and I have always found her to be very approachable, considerate, extremely knowledgeable, professional and experienced. 10/10

Personally, I never feel comfortable visiting this surgery, hard to put a finger on it?
But lost count the times I've stood there apparently totally invisible, while 2, 3 or yesterday 4 staff, have a natter, then feel like I'm a inconvenience, but just my honest opinion and I'm not originally a local, Winchester born.

Parking is always a pain, limited disabled parking bays...

Doctors are hit and miss, some great some seem to not fully listening nor seem interested in helping

Long time resident of the area and very best gp practice over all this time. Public facing staff are kind and efficient. All nurses really good and the doctors keep me well. The pharmacy staff are excellent. We are incredibly lucky to have them here.

Avoid Dr Lock if you want your concerns to be listened to. Thoroughly awful and judgmental approach to being a GP. I have never in my life experienced such terrible care. However, the other doctors at the surgery and staff have always been good.
