We are new patients at Humber Road and for everything so far the receptionists, nurses and doctors have gone above and beyond. The covid security is clear and we feel safe. Everyone has been polite and clear in their instructions.

I have been with this practice, and previously Sunrise Avenue for over 20 years without complaint. Lately, however, it is impossible to get through. On Tuesday I ended up having to go to A & E, as I could not get through to the surgery, justifiably as it appears I had a kidney stone and infection.

I have just spent 20 mins at no 1 in the call queue, trying to book my Covid booster and flu jab. I tried again, twice, and was told all lines are busy. I will try again tomorrow, but please, please, please do something about these telephone problems.

I haven't been to the Dr's in 15/20 years, in spite of my flaws my health is okay.

I managed to book an urgent appointment today due to an intimate issue. I had the good fortune to have Dr Onan. She was keenly attentive to my concern and was thoroughly professional in view of my humour and honesty.

I was worried when booking the appointment but I am now looking forward to a proactive and positive treatment plan.

Having met Dr Onan put me at ease and with her knowledge and kind manner I am on the right path.

Almost impossible to get an appointment and more likely to be asked to go to a surgery other than the one you are registered with since it became Chelmer medical partnership . Very difficult for people without transport and relying on buses. Also you are told by a recorded message to go online for an appointment when the phone lines are busy, not everyone is online and it's very frustrating

Very inconvenient!
Significant difficulties even making a simple appointment! Often automated response ‘sorry all lines busy’
Staffs generally do not have a helping attitude. They just want to get through the matter and pass on matters from one to another. This is true even for nurses and doctors. There are a few exceptions for whom I have utmost respect. I will be leaving the surgery. Not recommended.

I have had a great experience of Humber Road Surgery since been automatically allocated the surgery following the closure of Sunrise Avenue. However recently the services and more importantly call lines have been merged as Chelmer Medical Partnership....now it's horrendous logistically, the staff are still great but you can't get an appointment. You cannot book in advance and you can't get through on the day. They don't have a queing or hold system...just 'our lines are busy, please try later' for hours each day. Such a shame!
