There really is absolutely no point in using this surgery at all. My child needs to be seen a Doctor and not a practice nurse. I call at 8am and am number 36 in the queue. Not fair, I rarely use this surgery as do not want to waste valuable time. Oh well!

Have always found the staff so lovely and helpful at this surgery. I also think they’re booking systems etc are very efficient and I always manage to get an appointment for what I need, even if there is a long wait on hold sometimes (but as we all know, this is a problem due to under funding and should not be blamed on the staff or practice). Big thanks to you all!

Can't get an appointment. I work full time and there seems to be zero provision for those who do. Waiting times on the phone are a joke and a complaint to the Practice manager has gone completely unanswered. Such a shame as this used to be a superb surgery.

Quite possibly the worst GP practice in the UK.
Condescending and patronising GP’s! Asked for ENT referral several times, refused until son has had at least 8 ear drum perforations. Managed to get my Audiologist husband to come with me on the last occasion, to argue why my son needed an ENT referral ASAP, to which he was told “ I can see you have read a book before you came here, but you do not know more than I do” My husband has been a practicing Audiologist with the NHS and has a first class degree in the subject.
Phone queues are very long to get through, when you get through there are no appointments.
Wait on triage list for two hours to have a phone call to be told, I think your child needs to be seen by a GP - which is what I’d originally asked for.
Computer systems are always down, especially on a Monday morning.
The list is endless, and I am yet to find someone in Ambrose Avenue that is actually fully willing to help you with an issue that you have, within a good time scale.

AVOID THEM!!!! FIND SOMEWERE ELSE ANYWERE ELSE!!!!! Every time you call you have to waist over an hour of your life on hold because your 42 in line to be answered an this happenes EVERY TIME!!!!! An then when you finally get through to someone they REFUSE to help!!! All I asked for was a simple call back from doctors an they said NO!!! GO TO THE WALK IN CENTRE!!!! What the hell is the point of registering for them when they only want to send you to walk in centre!!!!!

Awful practice, called at 8 was on hold for over 2 hours and the call number kept going up whilst I was waiting. Then all appointments were taken…. Blamed short staff but something has got to change when no one can get hold of their doctor.
Still haven’t seen or spoken to a doctor so I guess it’ll be the same tomorrow morning. This surgery are medically neglecting people so I suggest if you’re thinking of joining them go somewhere else. I’m looking to move

If I could give 0 stars I would… firstly, you can never EVER get an appointment no matter what time you call, you’ll always be something like number 40 in the queue and after being on hold for 2 hours the appointments will all be taken. Secondly, the doctor prescribed me a specific brand of my medication instead of just generic. No pharmacies had this brand in stock, and they couldn’t give me a different brand of the same medication because of the specified brand on the prescription. This led me to going without medication for 2 days, experiencing awful withdrawal, despite calling the surgery several times in a desperate attempt to have the prescription amended.

Waiting 3 hours for a walk in appointment which would of been better as doing appointments for how little people got seen, but for how long we waited. Asked in my appointment for my repeats to be reissued as my pharmacy didn't let me know my prescription had run out. Was told they had been issued so went to collect them, but only one item had. Call the surgery to speak to prescription clerks and ask them to issue them, but won't take requests over phone. So I've been without my medication over the weekend, wasted 3 hours of my life and they couldn't give a s***.
