Lottery service, even for serious ongoing medical problems "call and try and get an appointment tomorrow".
A shame because when you do get lucky enough to talk to a doctor, over the phone, they are friendly and helpful. But getting one is near on impossible.

At what point do you tell the patients not to come in because the outside ambient temperature is hot making patients slightly hot too? Just got refused a flu jab because of a raised temperature probably didn’t help with their radiators left on 🙄

Have beening trying since last Weds to get through on the phone to get an appointment. This morning tried again and over 60 attempts since 8:30 it's now 09:27 and still haven't got through. What amazes me is. They asked me to contact them to book routine Smear test. What a joke!

Very difficult to get an appointment, you can only get one if you phone at 8:30 which doesn’t cater for anyone who has a job.
No way pre book for a later date, just hope my symptoms go away on there own. Scary.

I have been a patient here for more years than I care to remember. The surgery is located near Kemsley train station and shares it's plot of land with a Pharmacy.

There is parking on site but at times it can be difficult to find a space, expecially if the doctors are running late.

The reception staff I have encountered have always been polite and helpful. However, listening to the way some people talk to them I can understand that they might be somewhat less polite in return.

The Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics I have seen have all been very professional and taken their time to explain things to me. My GP is absolutely brilliant and takes time to discuss issues and treatment with you. Yes, they do often run late but to be honest I just expect that these days and bring a book to read while I am waiting..

Yes, calling the surgery can be an exercise in patience but there is always the option of using the app and getting a call back.

I know its very frustrating to not being able to get an appointment or call back when you call the surgery.
Last week I used the online consultant through My GP app once I'd completed all the questions I got an email saying I would have someone contact contact me within 48hrs, and to my surprise I had a doctor call me within a few hrs.
What a fantastic service will definitely be using this again if needed.

We started calling the surgery the second it opened in order to secure an appointment. At 10:30 and over 300 calls later we eventually got through. There is a pre-recorded message highlighting that abuse will not be tolerated which I completely understand, however I would suggest is recognition that such a poor service is likely to result in poorly patients being a little frustrated by the time they eventually get through. There is no queing system and therefore the only option is to repeatedly call back. The reality is that despite trying to get through for hours, somebody who has tried just once could get a response first. That aside, an excellent service once you eventually get through otherwise I would have given 1 star!

Phone line constantly engaged, no automated "You are sixth in a queue.." service, no answer phone service, no call back service. On occasions I and others have spent all day, not exaggerating, trying to get through, genuinely shocked when I do get through! To make matters worse, they close the Practice everyday for two hours lunch break (TWO HOURS!), shutting down phone lines completely. I understand people need a break, but I cannot name one company in any industry that shuts down everyday for two hours (Staggered breaks?). Its almost as if its the year 1842 again and not 2021.

Never have any appointments, even before Covid you cannot see a Doctor, been quoted two months waiting previously. On the last few occasions I have only ever managed to get a call back from the on duty paramedic (Who was very helpful I must add). The last time I saw an actual qualified doctor must have been almost a decade ago.

Never come back to you with test results, taking all the above into account, how are you supposed to get test results...
