Absolutely rubbish. E Consult only available between 8 & 10am. Some of us work! Therefore sent email, only to be told that I needed to use E Consult. I’m aware from friends & family in other areas have excellent GP support. But The Manor Clinic is a joke.

Some of the nurses are lovely, but really let down by the extreme bluntness of others who can’t really empathise with sensitive topics around mental health. Try and be a little more understanding and caring on the phone instead of talking down to patients and making them feel bad for getting in contact in the first place. Looking ‘online@ for an answer isn’t the help I asked for. Will be moving GPs 👎

The receptionist still pushing on covid restrictions and they thinking they are more like doctors lack of empathy, manners and understanding patients no wonder all good doctors going away from this surgery never seen so bad receptionist before cant make appointment online only by telephone and if you lucky get one you can see them sitting and talked each other and not picking up phone calls that's why waiting on phone taking fourty minutes or more because they're busy drinking tea or coffee and leaving ringing phone.

Absolutely shocking Doctors surgery
Dr Brighton Chireka lied to me in consultation and was caught out doing so, Upon myself making a complaint in relation to Dr Chireka i was told "find another surgery" by the practice manager and my complaint ignored.

I complained regarding Dr Chireka's conduct in consultation. I have Epilepsy and have just moved to kent. Dr Chireka refused to write to Berkshire NHS trust to get my epilpsey records instead telling me its my job to do so (it's even in the notes HE WROTE UP ON THEIR SYSTEM)

I called Berkshire they told me i couldn't request the notes (well i could but it would be a general request for ALL my notes and that it could take a long time) Berkshire NHS then gave me an email address for Dr Chireka to email to request my notes

I complained relating to Dr Chireka's conduct and asked he not be my named doctor anymore, Manor Clinic then have decided to remove me from the lists for daring to speak up when Dr Chireka's lies were caught up with.

I've involved the health care ombudsman and NHS england relating to Dr Brighton Chireka's conduct and that of Manor Clinic Surgery.

AVOID this surgery at *ALL* costs. Worst surgery in the united kingdom and possibly going to be subject to legal complaints for malpractice as well as NHS And Ombudsman complaints

Absolutely rubbish!! Took me 95 times before I managed to get through and speak to the reception for my 5 year old daughter requesting to have an appointment as she have temperature for 5 days in a row but not covid related. Spoke to the receptionist and booked an appointment at the RVH to be seen by clinical practitioner, requesting to been seen by the doctor but they can only offered a telephone contact. It is ridiculous to do telephone consultation for a 5 year old child with high temperature for 5 days. Doctors, nurses and receptionist at the surgery are still being cautious when it comes to Covid, but definitely sure they go everywhere on their day off without thinking Covid. Absolutely brilliant service for themselves but not for the public who pays for them with their collected taxes by the government.

I'm surprised at the bad reviews, because I've always found this surgery to be efficient and helpful. I know it's different for everyone, I guess I've been lucky because Dr Gupta has been supportive and very thorough with looking after my health and the staff have all been pleasant and kind too.

All GP surgeries are suffering staff and GP shortages so it can be frustrating trying to get through and book appointments, but this is the same everywhere and not particular to Manor Clinic. I think they are doing their best during tough times.
