Lakeside Medical Centre

It is extremely difficult to get through to this doctors however once through the doctor did call me back the last time.
Currently trying to get through again but not looking good.
I used to be at Milton surgery which was so much better.
This merger was supposed to be an improvement but it is terrible now.
Just an update.
I got through last time and the doctor called back within an hour and I was seen the same day.
When you get through they are still very good.

Absolute horrendous service! This doctors is the worst doctors to try get on the phone too. I've rang solid for 2 weeks now to try and book my smear test in which is rather important and no bloody answer!!! I've been round there and knocked on the door, the receptionist answered and told me she wasn't aloud to book the appointment gave to face which I am discusted by!!! Smears are so important! I explained I couldn't get threw in the phone and she point blank refused!! I rang 2 secs later after getting in the car I could hear the phone ring and still no answer. I get people are busy with covid but this is horrendous!!! I'm now 3 weeks over on my smear test and still no answer.. Just rings and rings! Appalling!

I had an appointment booked in for a flu jab. Was advised when booking to bring a pen to sign any forms and to wear mask. I did all of this. When I arrived at the practice there was a few people waiting outside, I checked myself in at the door and waited along with the other patients. A gentleman waiting before me was called in and I heard the lady ask him to was his hands in the sink to his left upon entering the building, all good and glad they are taking precautions. When I was called in I did the same, washed my hands, but there was no hand sanitizer in the dispenser on the wall. I turned to leave the little room with the sink to be greeted by the lady who called me in who was holding the syringe for my flu jab. Standing in the doorway she said 'just roll your sleeve up for me' then administered the jab and said all done, you might have some aching for a few days then walked me out the door. At no point was I asked of any allergies and to sign any disclaimer. Just given the jab while standing in the doorway. I have a flu jab every year and have never had such a slap dash service!!!

Coronavirus 2020
Called 254 times from 8 in the morning, my call kept getting declined. Receptionist finally have anawered my call, booked me a call appointment the doctor has not called me back ! Dissapointed. Ear infection and in so much pain I do not reccomend this gp what so ever!

Once I first joined at lakeside medical centre it was really well run. Unfortunately it got worse and worse. The final nail they moved to "green porch medical centre", we was told it would improve and better service, Unfortunately this was not the case 150 attempts to get through only be to met with unhappy desk staff.

My prescription I was told to use a service to which I had done, only to have it rejected every time. Because of this I ran out and ended up going down to the surgery about 1530, I've knocked on the door and had to wait 20 minutes whilst they sit behind the desk. Eventually they come to the door only to be told to come back after 1700.

The last nail in the coffin was told to call after 1700, I eventually got time to call at 1800 and waiting 3rd in line, this went to 2nd and then back up to 3rd. It got to 1830 and yet still not answer on the phone.

There is no way that 2 people in a phone call lasted over 30 minutes. Company is now worse than worse.

It is a shame the gp does not read these comments by the looks of things as nothing seem to change.

Worst service ever. I am calling for days to get my test results. Being on hold for 2h and when I finally manage to talk to somebody I was rushed and the receptionist was talking over me and she is always rude. The doctor is not listening to you and is prescribing heavy medication without checking what you need. When the GP was located in Milton Regis on my first appointment, after 10 min I left more confused and with a big list of life changing medication without knowing my history. I took them 1 year to refere me to a gynecologist after month of pointless calls. would not recommend Green Porch medical center GP. I will move to a different GP.

If I could not give any star I’ll do it, I have called and there were 4 people in front of me l, it took 1 hour to get in touch with them and they just said I have to call next day because they are fully booked, they just finished with me in 1 minute. It took me 2 hours to get in the queue line and 1 hour to answer me and tomorrow I have to take it from the beginning, I just hope it will not end the same like today because I m going crazy. I will try to find different gp practice to move because I have been with Lakeside Medical for 3 years and unfortunately I can’t see any improvement....the same problem from the beginning I just hopped it will get better but nothing yet...I’m so disappointed 😞

One of the receptionist is always so rude and makes you feel so unwelcome, plus to get appointment in here is impossible I been calling for days and been on hold for almost and hour and still no answer. Doctor is really nice but sometimes makes you feel like he is not really interested what you have to say.
