Albion Place Medical Practice

Terrible GP surgery. No apts available.. i have been trying to get one for 2 weeks now. Had many issues over the past 4/5 years. Have been promised call backs that never happened, turned up to appointments that had never been booked. Just generally badly run surgery, not enough staff and too many patients.

I don’t usually give rates or stars I understand the surgeries are busy and I am sure they try their best to deliver the services they promised to the NHS and to their customers but I came in a point to think that this surgery is disgustingly awful selfish rude incompetent and pathetic making joke of customers!!!! Called waited an hour on the phone promised the a doctor will be contacting me during morning and afternoon hours eventually waited all day heard noting from them, if you value your health please don’t attend to this surgery try elsewhere.

This has to be the worst Dr surgery I have ever used. Ring and can't get option for my particular need, so keep being thrown out of system. Ring at 8am on the dot call declined, constantly Ring back, 7 times between 8.00 and 8.03am to be told queue full or thrown off of line. Appointments are booked weeks ahead, Dr's aren't doing a full face to face surgery yet months after other surgeries have lifted covid restrictions, and now after being the worst surgery around they merge with another surgery! Even the pharmacist's roll thier eyes when you mention Albion Rd surgery. Letters from 3rd parties ignored. This surgery is a joke.

A quick blood test, dropping off my son, but first time visiting this centre.

Very shocked and disappointed to hear that people inside were not wearing face masks, despite the signs on the door saying that as a medical centre, masks are compulsory.

Parking is non existent as far as I can tell, but there is paid parking on union street, if there are any spaces available.

I didn't meet or even see any staff, so can't comment on that, but am sure they're good at doing what they do.

If you want to make yourself more ill than you already are then join this surgery, it is now worse than it was before the merger, I honestly didn’t think that would be possible. I have tried for days, literally, to get through to speak to someone but cannot. My partner had a call last week with one of the surgery pharmacists to change to a different medication for her condition, that was a difficult call as the pharmacist didn’t seem very capable. A reduction of current medication was agreed before starting new tablets, pharmacist was supposed to put a prescription in for the new medication, when it was collected, they were the wrong tablets. We can’t get hold of anyone at the surgery to rectify their error and my partner is left hanging. 4 days I have been trying to get hold of a person at the surgery, nothing!!!

Absolutely awful practice. The phone queue is constantly full, referrals take months to be forwarded, prescriptions are always riddled with mistakes. They need far more staff and fewer patients.

If I could give a zero rating then I would. Absolutely useless GP practice. Avoid this place. Had an ambulance called to my work place for medical issue paramedics said they will email surgery which they have and still no one answers phone. Usual prerecorded rubbish and then it hangs up.

Worst GP, always out of medication for 2 weeks, cannot call them as the que is always full. No matter the time of day. I can not even leave and go somewhere else as nobody is taking on anyone new
