This is probably the worst GP service I have ever come across. Trying to get an appointment for weeks. Called, hang up after telling everyone we experiencing high call volumes. Then they ask you to fill out an online form, a GP will be in touch within 48h … after several attempts no result. Then I sent a harsh email. Got a reply that the next telephone appointment was on Monday. Scheduled in for between 2:30 and 4;30pm. Moved meetings around to accommodate this. Guess what… no one called. Not surprised as they don’t care about patient care. Absolute disgrace. They would be shut down in any other country but yet the UK are allowing such service. After all the huge amounts of NI we pay, we should get much better care. Now looking for a new GP.

Had to go to A&E yesterday 16 March after treatment was told to go too GP surgery Commercial Way to see doctor about getting a X Ray that I need. On ring the surgery today 17 March was told no doctors can see me and that I cannot speak to a doctor until 24 March a week away what a joke. My sister is able to see her GP now as the Government have said face appointments are now able to go ahead. Don't think I will be staying here much longer.

I have always been satisfied with the medical care at this surgery and the knowledge of the doctors. My regular doctor is Doctor Murphy and he is an excellent doctor. It's obvious that he has years of experience. Each time I've met with him I have found him to be very reassuring and detailed in his explanation of things. There was a particular health concern that I had recently that I was especially worried about. He called me and put my mind at rest about things and I was personally very grateful to him for that. I've been grateful to the other doctors that I've met over the years as well. They've also been very helpful too. Reception staff that I met were helpful too.

I am sorry to read the poor reviews of this surgery. I think its always useful to write a positive review as well

I am a new patient and very satisfied with the phone service I had on Friday and today.
i know the waiting times can be a bit long on the phones.
i must congratulate Patricia she was super helpful very bubbly and professional, she made we feel so relaxed on the phone.
Well done! Patricia for being so caring and helpful to someone you have never met!
bless you and this practice

Exceptional and professional service received from all of the admin staff at the commercial way practise. Joy, was able to help solve many of my issues. Helping to reduce my anxiety levels. Quickly seen by the practice nurse. Only had to wait 24hrs!
Overall a positive experience was had.
Thank you...

Receptionists are lovely and much better than nexus used to have can't say much for the emotional ethics of the doctors though left with a really sarcastic, demeaning and unprofessional comment and I know from past visits that your last health record shows up and mine was dealing with my mental health and I have major respect for all medical practices and perfectionist but felt like he had no respect for me wow place is really gone down hill I will give it one more try and if they still treat patients in the same demeanor I will change practice because I excepted that there was nothing that you could do for me that's not a problem but that's no way to talk to anyone and that's my frist time revisiting since lock down I was in the Aylesbury practice for 15 years I moved locally to this one and feel generally mistreated and it's so sad because you looked after my dad for years before he passed and now as a young adult trying to look after my own health you make me feel socially exiled to really on you to do the same for myself.

After covid, the service has gone really downhill. No GP appointments are available most of the time. Worth closing this GP practise and using money in any other part of NHS.

I already knew I'd had a terrible experience at this surgery, but it's been rammed home even more now that I've moved away and am attending a different surgery. This new surgery, despite facing all the same challenges as Commercial Way and other overstretched surgeries across the country, still manage to retain their empathy and humanity, as well as an admirably high level of organisation and patient care. When I was at Commercial Way I dealt with receptionists who were at best apathetic and unhelpful, and at worst outright hostile (I swear, despite the fact I'm writing a scathing review now, that I would never be unkind or impolite enough to warrant that treatment). It was so demoralising, and meant that I found myself avoiding trying to see the doctor even when I really needed it, as a result making my problems worse.

It was almost impossible to get an in-person appointment. Even when a phone call was arranged, the phone call would either never come on the appointed day, or the surgery wouldn't be able to give even a loose timeslot so that people who work full-time could have a hope of being able to answer. The doctors and nurses were genuinely nice to deal with, but there were instances of terrible negligence when it came to the care I needed towards the end of the time I was registered at the surgery.

When I think about this surgery I still feel upset and angry. I didn't deserve to be treated that way when I was unwell, and I can see from the other negative reviews (some horrific stories there) that I'm not alone. It is absolutely unacceptable and needs to be sorted out.
