This doctor surgery has to be the worst I have ever encountered
Firstly you cannot pre book a doctors appointment, you have to call bang on 8am on the day you want to see the doctor.

It is literally impossible to get through, you hear the repetitive automated message telling you they cannot accept your call and than goes dead, if your lucky to get in the phone queue at all expect to be number 20 and be on hold for about 45 minutes before you finally get through to someone to be told by the receptionist that all the appointments have gone.

The reception staff are miserable, not very friendly, the surgery is very old and dated looking, most the doctors don't have a clue, the only decent doctor is Dr Tom Ellison who actually listens to to your problem and takes you seriously, all the others are just quick to prescribe you antibiotics and send you on your way.

I have now left this awful surgery, I feel sorry for those who are unable to find another practice, the fact that so many patients are unable to obtain appointments is worrying.

So bad that it's almost comical, in a Fawlty Towers kind-of-a-way. Funny if it wasn't for people's health being affected! Pre-pandemic, I had to physically go to the surgery to queue outside from 7am to be the first in the queue when the doors opened at 8. By the time they opened, there were 23 people behind me, all thinking that they were early enough to get an appointment, but by the end of the queue, all the appointments for that day had gone.

With amalgamating with Hollybrook, it took me 38 attempts merely to get looped onto a phone queue for a ringback. Then there's a 2hr wait for the ringback.

Behind the scenes is very disorganised, if the GPS are great.

An absolute joke of a doctors ,the appointment system is a farce and if you work you have ZERO CHANCE of booking an oppointment. All you ever hear is we have a high volume of calls please try later and if by a miracle you do get through your told all slots are full try again tomorrow for the same thing …RUBBISH

Can’t get an appointment at all. Every day you phone up and are 50th in the que and request a call back. You get called back I. The afternoon and are told there is nothing left phone back tomorrow. It’s a disgrace
100% not recommended

I booked a telephone appointment online a few days prior for the 20/10/21 at 9.20am. I sat waited patiently but received no call back. Really fed up with this surgery each time I call there are no appointments even when I call at 8am I have to wait an hour to get through and by that point all the appointments have been taken. So I thought by booking an appointment online I would have more luck but that was not the case. Really disappointed with this surgery.

The Google review score reflects how poor this surgery is.

Waste of taxpayers money. Can’t get an in person appointment. Instead I have to wait three days to receive a telephone call from a doctor. Absolutely pathetic.

Update. The telephone appointment never happened because they never called. Well done 👍 shame on you.

Receptionists have a real bad attitude. Rang on behalf of elderly friend to get an appointment to see doctor. No hope, ring back at 8.00. I told her my friend isn't capable at ringing, go to the walk in centre. I said she is housebound, call 111 then. With that I put the phone down and rang Heatherton surgery, got sorted.
