They need to do something about the inept nurse and the front staff. The front desk feels unorganised and they always have difficulty finding referrals, letters, and prescriptions. Someone named Amy (?) called me and didn't make any sense and was constantly lecturing me. She asks questions, but when you try to respond, she doesn't allow you to and constantly talks over you.

Other than that, the doctors have been quite helpful, and Dr. Murthy in particular is trying to be very helpful to his best ability.

Negligent. The front staff is poor at answering phones or calling back if you leave messages, and they rarely ever respond to emails. You have to chase them for prescriptions or test results. They don't monitor conditions they are supposed to check on. It was never this bad when the elderly lady was in charge, who is now retired. I never had any problems previously. I also agree with a previous review that the nurse is inadequate. She is pretty rough to deal with, mildy speaking.

Ms Claudia from Colombia at the front desk had helped register during a tough time. I received adequate help to get blood tested through the clinic when I was completely alone during the pandemic

Horrible service. Have been waiting whole day in pain for a call from the doctor but apparently they didn’t have even 5 minutes to call to help. As a foreign student who just moved to this city i was so relieved about this system only to find out how shameless they are. What a disappointment… shame on you!

reading some of the complaints on here, i honestly dont understand.
1. The Receptionists are fantastic, caring and empathetic. They set up appointments at the earliest possible time, they communicate well and often.
2. The nurses listen to your concerns and worries and put your mind at rest
3. The doctors are simply wonderful!

If you live in their catchment area you will be well served by this practice

I am applying for life insurance from L&G, who has sent a request to Kynance Practice for my medical report on 11/12/2020. Despite various calls and chaser online, so far there is no response.
I have given enough patience considering the disruption and workload down to pandemic, but after 9 month waiting there is no response/explanation yet. All my online request for the medical report was totally ignored.

This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

I''ve seen Dr. Mckeown since 2000 and I've thought him easily the best GP I have ever seen. Never in rush, he patiently describes what he thinks your issue is and what steps he recommends to deal with it.

Getting my Covid vaccine at his surgery was an example of top notch patient care: I was given a precise time, and after filling in a form was vaccinated - all in the space of ten minutes. So much better, easier and less stressful than going into a big hospital and probably waiting around.

It may have its quirks but i have always felt very fortunate having access to this surgery for over 20yrs. Covid aside, to have a walkin clinc every day of the working week is quite often not heard of in London (inc SW7 surgeries). I have family in Chiswick (Chiswick health centre west London) and East London who can not believe i could just walk in (pre covid). I should imagine most surgeries are having problems right now with the strain/pressure. They dont like it anymore than you do and be thankful they are there.
