Sunray Surgery

This surgery is absolutely terrible.

Reception staff are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. -- I know exactly how patients should be spoken to and treated as I worked in the NHS for 7 years, and the reception staff at this surgery have NO kindness, empathy or patience for anyone who is ill. I have never seen anything like it. There is a woman there who always shouts at you on the phone - my entire family has been shouted at by her through no fault of our own when the surgery itself has made mistakes (doctors not called back, not been clear about results, have asked us to call them back etc.) This behaviour is horrendous, disheartening and stressful to anyone, let alone someone unwell and needing help.

Doctors there don't care -- I've seen 4 different doctors at this practice for several issues over 10-15 years. All of them want to get rid of you as fast as possible, barely ask you to explain the condition you have and are quick to refer you to reading materials on the NHS website to avoid doing any real explaining themselves. They have been negligent with people who have chronic pain, diabetes, high blood pressure and sports injuries. Not one doctor there will really listen to you, and a locum doctor once told me that they hadn't slept in 2 weeks when I asked her to stop being rude to me and to please explain what she recommended I do.

I worked in a community pharmacy for nearly 10 years years and was in contact with so many local surgeries in the London area -- this practice is one of the worst, and I encourage everyone who is there to complain and make them improve their care standards at every level.

I have read some pretty bad reviews regarding the reception staff and can honestly say that Tracey is probably the most helpful GP receptionist I have come across. She made which could have been a traumatic experience for my Daughter very easy in a caring and empathetic manner. Thanks you, very much appreciated.

The appointment for my daughter yesterday with the GP was exceptional. The doctor was so kind, friendly and professional and the care recieved was excellent. Clearly a GP who had a wealth of knowledge and experience and was confident to do their job well.

I had to call the Surgery earlier today to see If someone could sort out an issue that I had regarding a hospital referral . The receptionist, Tracy, was once again extremely helpful , advising what I needed to do, as well as assisting with the procedure and going above and beyond what was required. Since the pandemic we have found that the admin staff, nursing staff and Doctors have carried out their duties to a high standard and thank them all. So glad we decided to register at this practice when we moved to the area many years ago. Thank you all.

People at the reception are rude and inefficient. They’re not polite at all. I’ve had a few bad encounters with them. Three stars for the one receptionist who is lovely and Doctors who are also nice.

I received a call at 14:31 on 08/06021 to confirm my Co-vid vaccination to have a extremely rude receptionist that is obviously not trained in customer care service talk to me like I was a piece of S#it . This woman needs to be sacked looking at the other reviews this is the same person, I have experienced this same customer service befor from this GP before but nothing this bad. THIS NEEDS ATTENTION
