Heston Practice

An overall atrociously run practice that I recommend every patient stays far away from! I urge practice management to read this and take proper action to ensure some improvements in patient care and service.

Receptionists lack empathy and any form of decent customer service. They are rude, unhelpful, and full of attitude. They are supposed to be at the front line of the practice, so all it takes is one negative encounter with reception to make you lose all hope in the quality of the patient care we are supposed to receive.

I have also encountered Nurse Cornima who was over 20 minutes late for the appointment and rushed the whole appointment when I was finally seen. A very brief and tick-box exercise appointment that completely disregarded all my concerns and lacked empathy and avoided any form of compassion and eye contact. Very abrupt responses from her when asked about health concerns. These are annual checks for diabetic patients so they are very vital and should be conducted thoroughly with valuable advice shared with the patient regarding their health condition.

On a positive note, I highly praise Dr Singh for his fantastic patient care - he is very professional and truly cares for his patients. It’s just a huge shame that every step before the consultation is a huge disappointment.

Absolutely unprofessional place. The receptionist has always got bad attitude on the phone and in person. She called me back to book an appointment and tried to discuss my medical issues with me as if she was a doctor. They sent me an appointment time and then sent me a text a day before with the wrong persons name and changed the location. When I turned up the receptionist acted as if I was in the wrong When she is the one who can even get the patients name right. Joke of a practice.

I am not happy with the service of this GP I called 8am and I was waiting for 1 hour. At the end the reception said to me.we are fully booked . So how comes you keep me 1 hour then you say we are fully booked unfortunately it's not the first time. The reception doesn't let me talk and she says email your complaints to the manager.

I would have given them no star if the option was there.have to wait more than 40 minutes to 1hr and u never get a appointment here they always says we are fully booked. Pls avoid this clinic

The place is horrendous, the receptionists have no empathy towards anything you're going through, never able to get hold of an appointment.

Great team at smart connect who go the extra mile. We have now transferred all our Telecoms business over as they have not provided a better service but saved us money too. Good work team.

I have the same complaints about this GP as many other people do. Impossible to get appointments, heavily oversubscribed. You will find this problem at almost all GPs. I have had two negative experiences here with two separate GPs who dismissed my problems when I actually was very unwell but that’s the individual doctors not the surgery.

The reason for my 3 star review however, is that there are bunch of really amazing younger doctors working at this surgery who always make me feel listened to, always run the tests I need to put my mind at ease, and I never find that I am dismissed due to my age etc.

One of whom is Dr Ghatore, he really takes the time to listen to your concerns and make sure that your mind is out at ease. There are other GPs who I can’t remember the name of now but they really do make up for the administration issues at this surgery.

Just want to put this out there as the reviews are so overwhelmingly negative but I have only had good experiences when needing to go to my GP in the past couple of years. This has been my GP surgery for over 20 years
