The worst GP ever! Rude receptionists and poor treatment.
It says that you have to call between 8:30-10:00 for the same day appointment, but when I called at 8:40 they said that there aren't any appointments left. It happened the same last month when I called at 8:30 for my son's appointment and the lady said "no more appointments for today" ,but when I called 30 minutes later I spoke with another lady, who booked an appointment "No problem!" with the best doctor they have Dr. Rashmi Singh. I have to mention that if you have an appointment with Dr. Kirpal Singh, don't expect any explanation or any serious action taken, you better cancel the appointment.
This is not only my opinion...,my neighbours,my friends, the midwives and health visitors, all think the same!

Rude receptionist, no politeness what so ever. When tried to complain to the surgery instead they turned it around on me and called me rude and abusive to cover their backs. Really disappointed .The receptionist refuses to send my prescription electronically to my chosen pharmacy but has no problem sending it to the one she herself works at. Breach of rules. Will be taking this matter further. I'm not the only one that has issues with this surgery.

The doctors are fine shame some of the receptionist are not when you ring and it's engaged so after trying 30+ times you think your call is going to be answered to but put onto hold and not even told sorry to keep you can you hold a moment just straight on to the music. Also I understand that to order a prescription it's ment to be done between 11am and 1pm but we also have jobs and can't always get to a phone between them times or get your call answered before 1pm. I was told about ordering it by email I will try this next time to see how that goes

Dr Chandrabina Singh was very rude. Delayed us by 30 mins and didn't even apologize. When I recommended for them to advice patients of the extra delay in the waiting room she gave no answer and completely ignored me. She even told my 6 year old to shut up. When I told her not to talk to my daughter that way and stop being rude she turned it around and called me rude. After I went to the reception to complain they were sniggering and laughing. Dr Singh himself is good but the receptionist and these new so called doctors are rude and arrogant. Would advise anyone to avoid.

I probably hadn't been to the doctors surgery in at lease 13 years. Got my blood test results on Thursday, spoke to Dr Singh the woman, for under 60 seconds. In that time, she told me that I have issues with my liver, and that I need to return in 3 months and in that time i cant drink. I tried to ask her a question, and all she did is repeat the same thing. I was mid sentence and she just cut the phone on me. I understand how doctors can be busy, but I genuinely believed people become doctors because they care about their patients. I got treated like an uneducated individual, who was just a burden to her. If there is a problem, then I should be entitled to know the extent of it, or at least more of an explanation than I received. I got met with no empathy & no compassion, which I personally don't mind, but I am aware of other instances where this has occurred for patients with much larger issues than the one I have described. I recommend you address this internally.

The surgery needs to be examined and shut down. Everyone has already discussed the ground level issue which are receptionists and their inability to take appointments. The root to the problem is at the top of the heirachy with Dr Singh and Dr Rashmi themselves being the cause to this surgeries problem as a lack of empathy and concern for patients and probably staff aswell. I'm very surprised Dr Singh hasn't been sued yet for malpractice or been convicted yet (You'll understand why once you been going there for 30 years). How he's still practicing baffles me.
As for Dr Rashmi, I have never met anyone more useless at their job. Whats weird is shes always so confused and helpless at being a GP that you feel sorry for her but then you'll try discuss your health issues with her and out comes this condescending and patronizing individual who assumes that they know it all that you have to rearrange an appointment with Dr Singh.
Honestly this surgery needs to be reassessed by the governing body, they can't go on like this.

Where do I begin?!... I am utterly disappointed with this surgery as a whole. I have been with them since I was born, so 29 years of being loyal to them. Dr Singh himself was amazing but unfortunately 9 out of 10 times when I’ve asked for him he seems to be on holiday.

The way the whole surgery works is disgraceful. For a place that one is supposed to turn to when in serious need, this place is not one you could trust and is a real let down.

The receptionist don’t care, they don’t answer the phone, you can be on hold for more than half an hour even if you are first one in the queue. There is no answering machine, once the phone was picked up and I was put on hold; as I was so desperate to speak to someone I went to the surgery to see if this would be quicker but to my disgust I saw that the receptionist was not even busy.

As for the doctors other than Dr. Singh himself, the others are just not aware of the needs of their patients. Dr Rashmi seems to take everything as minor, not urgent, or not serious. The other male doctor is clueless and does not talk professionally and Dr. Chandrabina Singh is possibly the worst doctor I have ever met. Her unprofessional, bad mannerisms, utter rudeness and her inability to help or wanting to help patients is shocking. No offence but I’m wondering whether she is even qualified enough to be sitting in that doctors chair.

I suffered from a UTI for 2 months (July 2018) and finally had to be seen by an emergency doctor because Dr. Chandrabina had sent me away, told me my systems were fine, I had something called honeymoon cystitis (even though I had been married over a year) and I just needed to drink cranberry juice. She didn’t even take a test and sent me away. I trusted her at the time and took her advice and ended up in an emergency situation where I couldn’t even sit or stand any longer, and kept running to the toilet every 5 seconds. When I went to the emergency doctor they said there wasn’t even a note on the system to say I had been seen. What a shock! Dr Singh had then seen me after this and laughed at the diagnosis I was given by Chandrabina.

My next experience is one that is more recent , quite serious and one which I am suffering from currently (24.01.19 - 08.04.19). I had an accident in July 2018 and had injured my knee and shoulder very badly, so I had been having physiotherapy for it. No scan was taken, just an X-Ray and my shoulder continued to pain and my knee continued to swell at the end of every week. After 6 months when I was teaching a PE lesson (I am primary school teacher), I fell to the floor in pain and my knee had possibly given way. After half an hour my knee had enlarged so much that I had to be taken to the hospital. They advised me to wear a brace and use crutches to relieve the pressure from my knee as I was unable to put my foot down at the time. They also asked the GP to send me for an MRI scan. This scan did take place after waiting several weeks. In the meantime before knowing what exactly was wrong with my knee, I was sent for treatment to a physio. They gave me exercises to do and as I trusted them to make me better, I did do each one, only to find out later that this had made my knee worse. The doctor had said that they can not advise anything more until the MRI scan is infront of them. This MRI took place over 2 months ago now and my GP still has not chased it up or called me back. I called the surgery myself many times and had got tired of not getting through. When I finally got through to Dr. Chandrabina she said I needed to do the chasing up as she has 4000 other patients who are more important. I spoke with my physio who said that she had the scan but could only release the report if the GP requested it by fax. I then spoke to Dr. Chandrabina who said that she has not got the time for this and when I expressed my concerns about my health, explaining how it was affecting my lifestyle and work, etc, she cut me off and said, “Are you finished?!” in a sarcastic manner. I am distressed, disappointed and still in pain.
WHAT AN AWFUL GP!!
