Very prompt on actioning issues.
Reception team very polite and patient.
Always get appointments that fit in with my work.
Overall very good surgery who truly do adhere to 'Care Of Duty' to patient.
I would give ten stars if I could.
Oh and lovely Motown music in reception which can be very positive when someone feels poorly.
Don't change the music!
In the past few months have been to hospital for tests. One for the heart, which involved my heart being monitored after going on a treadmill.
The other was a barium ultrasound. A follow up appointment for acid reflux.
I am waiting for results for each of these.
Dr Mark referred me to the hospital for these two issues and i am grateful.
Excellent Doctor 👍
Only thing I would say is that some of the staff could be more polite and welcoming.
Debbie also demanded mobile phones not to be used in silence in the surgery reception to find out if antibiotics are now allowed to be bought over the counter from pharmacies with the national outbreak of STREP-A and current shortage of GP surgery appointments, to which I responded that its very distracting and a major trigger of Autism to be forced to listen to loud music at a doctors practice/ public places which aren’t music clubs.
I don’t think this doctors surgery is suitable for people with autism and/or a sight disability as the music sound level is completely ridiculous to be playing in a doctors reception area.
Debbie Kelly is the current practice manager and another Debbie is the lady that laughed at my serious comments.
Jackie and Debbie on reception answered back in a way that is similar to a ‘Karen’.
To calm a patient in times of stress it’s excellent just to politely apologise and say these three words “I sincerely apologise”, not bark at patients and/or give personal opinions. I understand this is struggle for a lot of people in London, especially smiling.
Good manners and politeness doesn’t cost anything.
If you want to be humiliated or receive condescending comments, be sure to call or attend this GP practice.
Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this behaviour towards me and my wife over the phone with Jackie and Debbie.
To make this practice better, the practice manager Debbie Kelly is currently charge of complaints and recommendations to improve customer service.
However, if you’re looking for a free day music club with loud music from the 1970’s onwards that’s going to trigger stress or autism…this may be your next local warm, free of charge and unfriendly place to go.
Remember, autism isn’t just a part of children’s lives. It’s also present in adults and it’s a shame staff that work for the NHS that also work at a GP practice need to be educated about it.
Tis’ a great shame to write this review but I’ve experienced enough rude and unprofessional and personal comments from most of the staff at this GP practice.
However, the hijabi muslim lady is the most polite at the reception when I’ve attended in the past :-)
On a more positive note, the the private GP practice next door is very professional and reception staff have excellent communication skills even though they’re all originally from overseas and English language is of a much more basic level.
Yours sincerely,
