So had a face to face appointment today. Whilst waiting I watched 2 patients speak very rudely to reception. Wow! Angels! The receptionists were calm collected and soooooo helpful.
Now my appointment is ready, won’t lie I was feeling tired drained and not a fan of waiting rooms! Considering I worked in one!
The doctor and nurse so ruddy kind and looked after me. Did have a few tears due to why I was having the appointment.
Felt incredibly grateful they were kind and so nice to me as I’m not used you that!
Thank you for giving me a positive experience as it’s been a helluva few weeks! 😁🙏🏻

After being with this surgery for 23 years, they have decided to remove me from the surgery. My parents have been with them over 30 years and have also been told they will be removed and that we will need to find a new doctors. Baring in mind how hard it is to a secure a place at a doctors these days because of how overcrowded they are!! The reason is so they can look after people from another post code area, awful service considering how long we have been with them for.

Not happy with this surgery, most receptionists are rude and curt. Hanging at number 1 in the queue for 20 minutes and no apology. Slow in vaccinations. Avoid.

Update 16th June 2022:

Much nicer now. New staff in who are friendly and helpful. A much better experience!

Been with this surgery for 11 years, Coral & Trevor have always been great as have the Drs and Nurses, until I moved house, I was told that there was a Transitional period of up to 6 weeks; having been away and unwell I’ve not had time or been well enough to register with. New GP on day 9 of the six week period I find I can’t log in to patient access and get an important prescription for my Bipolar Medication and my Asthma Inhaler, medication I CAN NOT be without - when I phoned up I was basically told tough that victoria Rd we’re not longer my GP and the woman was just a Receptionist and there’s nothing she could do about it more like there was nothing she was prepared to do about it I’ve had to spend the afternoon ringing up waiting for my psychiatrist secretary to speak to me
To arrange and she was also appalled you had left me with no way of getting my medication and I’ve had to call 101 to get an asthma inhaler prescription done as I won’t be able to get registered to get a prescription in time it’s absolutely disgusting that you would leave a patient with no medication and no way of getting it -such a shame to leave on a bad note I also suggest you don’t get members of staff to deal with patients that they know on a personal level very awkward and unprofessional for both parties-

Very impressed with the speed with which a doctor responded to my request for help. They really are an excellent practice but, dare I say, before people leave negative reviews whereby they expected them to work miracles or move mountains I wish they would realise that the doctors and staff are human too, under tremendous pressure and have problems of their own. We really would be totally lost without them.

Due to an unforseen health event I had to use Victoria Road Surgery services a multiple times over the past few weeks.
I felt compelled to leave my review, because my experience with this particular establishment was absolutely brilliant. Not once I had a problem with booking on the day appointment and I am very grateful for all the help and support received.
I would definitely recommend this practice based on my personal experience.

I just wanted to update my review on the surgery as the quality of care and efficiency I have experienced in the last year has been superb- throughout a pandemic which has exerted immense pressure on the GP practices. The frontline staff, nurses, doctors have been amazing. Thank you all. I have deleted the previous post. I can only congratulate you on the superb work you do. Fiona

Totally usless. Running low on medication so went online to order more. It hadn't been put on repeat so phoned the surgery. Was told it would be and waited for it to show up so I could re order. 2 days later and now out of medication I placed a letter through their letter box asking for this to be done. 24 hours later, still nothing. This whole system is a joke. Lucky I don't have a life threatening condition. My next step will be to book an appointment which would waste a doctor's appointment or write a letter to the practice manager.
