South View Surgery - Bromley

I always find the reception team really helpful and patient when I speak to them for all matters , they will go above and beyond to assist you in solving the issue.
I have had recent surgery and had to go to the practice to have my dressings changed. During the process I felt very unwell and told the nurse that I was going to pass out, she immediately fetched two of the Doctors and all three of them managed to place me on the floor into the recovery position before I fell and smashed my head.
They were absolutely amazing, administered oxygen, got my blood pressure and blood sugar levels back to normal, stayed with me until I felt better as I really did feel so unwell and then the nurse was able to continue with the dressings.
I was reassured and cared for by this amazing team , they have a great sense of humour , made me feel so comfortable , the nurse Joanna Thomas is fantastic at her job, Dr Eve Cooper and Dr Sally Carson are equally as fantastic too. I have such huge gratitude to all of them and can't thank them enough for being there when I felt super vulnerable as I had gone to the surgery on my own.

I have also recently had a consultation with Dr Doyle who was so helpful , kind and caring , that I simply couldn't wish for better support, advice and care from this brilliant team and service.
I highly recommend this practice and can't thank them enough for their care in the community.

I moved to the area a year ago and this is by far the best GP practice I have come accross. The medical team is very diligent and professional. You can tell they care very much about their patients and about doing a good job.

This has been my best ever experience with a GP surgery and have spent 3 years as a patient. Every single GP I have ever seen here has been warm, kind and thoroughly listened to me.

Had not had contact with Southview for some years and had no expectation of things being 'how they used to be'. Was pleasantly surprised and actually quite impressed with efficient management of my health issue; very helpful receptionist followed by extremely useful and kind phone consultation and subsequently effective treatment/medication from pharmacy, all within same day. What more could one ask for from a GP practice?! Well exceeded expectations. Thank you so much to the whole team.

Dreadful service and impossible to get through to.
They asked me to get blood tests arranged to be followed up with a call. Didn't bother contacting me to say all was fine, I had to call in, 20 minutes on hold. Seriously feel that they don't care. That's certainly the experience anyway.
Understand that the NHS is not funded well but feels like this place has given up altogether.

I have been trying for weeks to get results of recent test. However don’t have time or patience to hang on the phone for 1hour 10 mins and still caller number 1 in the queue!

Medical staff seem ok, but what you have to go through to see them is beyond a joke. I was once told by a receptionist that I didn't need to see a doctor about my knee, I needed to see a physio. When I saw the physio, she said "have you not seen a doctor?". You couldn't make it up. I moved from another useless practice (with a slightly worse review average) because I wasn't happy with the doctors. Here, you'd be lucky if you ever saw one. Had a phone consultation once and the doctor appeared uninterested and distant. Couldn't wait to finish the call, total waste of time. Went in the the surgery once to ask about a doctor's letter. You have to request it online. Did that, heard nothing. Hide behind so called modern technology to mask their inadequacies.
