Booked an appointment this afternoon to turn up and be told I don't have one. Receptionist saying she will listen to the call, meanwhile I am sat here with my appointment time approaching. Of course I have nothing better to do than attend appointments I apparently didn't book do I.

I can only speak from my experience with this Surgery but I have nothing to complain so far and because I see many bad reviews about this I decided to leave mine as well just to say that it is not all bad. I am with the Surgery for 4 years now and so far so good. I might be a lucky one.

Horrible service by reception. Two days in a row, I've called before 8am as they've suggested and at 1.30pm, cannot get an appointment, reception staff laughing at you for asking for some suggestions of what you can do to get an appointment. I will be moving medical centres immediately

Terrible customer service, staff doesn’t like working, the staff never book to see the doctor even if you call 8:30, the queue is always a minimum of 26 people. Simple terrible 😢

Confidentiality breaches. Left me without support as a result.
Watching external consultants which the Grove said were 'unethical' and yet not having the decency to actually report it for the safety of the Borehamwood residents.
The GPs are under a lot of strain, granted. But when patient safety is compromised they need to follow through reporting it or find other Drs to support them.
Surgery has gone downhill this year. Very disappointing. Reviewing moving but staying at the moment for geographic reasons, and questioning whether any GPs in Borehamwood put patient wellbeing above old boys clubs.
Dr Chapman is incredibly condescending. Not the first time I found him so. He knows it and doesnt care less.... says a lot about patient care.

Incredible rude receptionist, I called and she shouted at me for not understanding one of her questions. Dear lady, I didn’t hear it because I’m sick! You ask people not to be rude to you, but the same respect should be given.

Absolutely diabolical avoid at all cost !
So incompetent, a family member recently sadly passed away of natural causes over 11 days ago , after the health care professional visited the care home and pronounced our beloved dead it it all went down hill very quickly from there.

After 11 days of not being issued a death certificate and with constant pursuing the doctors and emails them and the coroners office , we as a family decided call the registry office , and visit the coroner , only to find out after the surgery had stated they sent the information 9 days prior.

This was not case THE SURGERY DID SEND THE DETAILS TO GET THIS A WRONG EMAIL ADRESS AND STATED IT NEVER BOUNCED SO SOME ONE OUT THERE HAS DETAILS OF OUR FAMILYS MEMEBERS DEATH , AS THE SURGERY ARE STATING IT NEVER FAILED TO SEND NOR DID THEY RECIEVE A MESSAGE STATING.

All we got was a half hearted sorry , not acceptable making what is already a difficult time for the family even more difficult , what makes it worse if we did not chase this up were still be waiting.

And the potential massive breach of data protection.

Has been reported to Care Quality Commission.

Unforgivable by any standard.

I’ve just spoken to a receptionist who can’t even take an appointment I was told I need to call them specifically at 8am no other time aside from this. And were told this is what other GP service are like nowadays? This is one of the worst experience I’ve had with the NHS. The receptionist just sits there telling all the patients trying to book an appointment to call at 8am. And these people are on strike for this?
