My father has dementia and suffered a few strokes. Mr Khalid Patel, I'm not calling him doctor Khalid Patel as there is no way this man is a doctor. He must have got his qualifications from the internet. He finally came out to see my father as he was in dire need of palliative care as my dad was in so much pain. He promised faithfully 2 or 3 times when asked by us that he has referred my dad to the palliative care unit. Basically washed his hands of us. After a day and a half of pain for my father and us feeling absolutely helpless I called the palliative care unit myself. They had no record of my father and knew nothing of his distress. The palliative care unit even emailed the surgery to find out what the delay was. Even then the surgery did not respond. We tried calling the surgery without success. We had to physical go there for an update.
After speaking to the receptionist it soon became apparent they had done absolutely nothing at all. No referral, no emails to palliative care unit or district nurse. The receptionist had absolutely no compassion or sympathy. To say her attitude stank would be putting it mildly.
I wouldn't trust these people as far as I could throw them. I absolutely disgusting with them and can't believe they are still able to practice.
I will make a complaint to medical council or whoever governs them.
If it was possible to give this s**t hole a negative review I would.
Pls pls pls do not use this medical service. I say medical service in the most loosest term possible.

This is the worst practice that could possibly exist. I have called in several times complaining of a severe pain on my chest and I was told that a Dr would call me back at a specific time. The lady took down my details and number and this is a week later and I still haven’t received any call from a doctor or even anyone to check if I’m still alive. Please what is going on here. You are a major part to this community as you’ve registered yourselves cable to take care of our needs and unfortunately you’re acknowledged by the NHS yet you have been failing this community. I am shocked that this practice is still allowed to continue this cruel treatment to vulnerable people. This place needs to be shut down as even when I go past it it gives me anxiety as the simply don’t care if you die. It’s ridiculous that medical practice like this are allowed to exist in this well educated and modern country. This is not the first time and something needs to be done about it urgently.

WORST GP EVER!

This is the worst gp i’ve ever been registered with. It’s either they are incompetent or they just think black people have a higher pain tolerance which is absolutely silly. The doctors have never called me back on time, I usually have to wait for hours. One time, a receptionist took my details first and then said “I can’t give you an appointment for today, we’re keeping the rest for other people”. I was shocked!

They never have enough appointments even if you were between number 4 to 6 on the queue. When you eventually get to talk to a receptionist (most of which are plain rude), after speaking to you they ask a very sickening question “so what would you like the doctor to do for you, give you an advice or medication?” Are you joking? Did I call just to have a chitchat with the doctor? I repeat, WORST GP EVER!

I only gave 1 star because I can’t post without giving a star.

I’ve been a patient here for almost 50 years, since moving to the area in 1972. I’ve watched doctors come and go, and heard the moans and groans of disappointed patients. And waited to be seen, and struggled to get an appointment.
But I have nothing but praise for what really is a thankless task. By definition, only patients who aren’t well go to see a doctor, so imagine the responsibility that the doctors have in trying to decide who is really seriously I’ll, and who just needs some pills.
Have they ever closed during the pandemic?- No.
Have they struggled to maintain a service? - almost certainly.
Are they trying to evolve their service to cope with ever increasing demands.

I am giving 3 stars only because Dr Razack is a kind and truly professionist doctor. But the service is appaling, the rudest receptionists ever ! They must understand patients are going there not from pleassure,or fun, or to give them hard time but because they have a medical problem and they suffer! It doesn't take much to talk nice, calm and be kind with others! You cannot look and talk down to people, raise your voice
and treat patients disrespectfully just because you are in that position! There is plenty of other jobs out there, maybe they should consider doing something else for living as their social and human skills are zero!! Shame on you!!! I hope you or your loved ones never get the same attitude like you give others, especially when you're in pain!

Doctors, nurses and office staff are always helpful and professional. I have been using the practice for 40 years and have never had a problem. Excellent care and always patient with my concerns. Thank you.

Absolutely useless! Does not want to help, they cannot wait to get you off the phone. I was having to tell her where to find everything because she was being lazy and did not want to help! Trying very hard to rush me off the phone. I do not recommend you go to this surgery as a patient. The staff clearly just cant wait to get off the phone and go home. Ridiculous service. I guarentee if the calls started being recorded for quality and training like they're needed to be, there would be a big change in attitude!!! Please go elsewhere this surgery is not for you!

I called the surgery today at 8.45am for a triage appointment. The receptionist attempted to get rid of me without booking an appointment and gave medical advise over the phone although she is not a Dr or a nurse.. Eventually she told me I will get a call back today. 7.20pm now and not heard back. This has been by far the worse gp surgery as this has not been the only problem iv had with them. I honest like Dr Patel however his receptionists are extremely incompetent.
