Always managed to get an appointment when urgent and had a reasonable time to wait for a non urgent appointment.
Shame to see some poor reviews but everyone needs to remember that people are quick to moan and good reviews and experiences aren't always written.
Lovely staff on the phones and reception desk-always try their hardest to not disappoint.
However, one of the receptionists is a total opposite and very rude on every encounter I've had with her. She's rude and thinks she can say things and speak to you anyhow. Wish she was at the receiving end of her attitude, perhaps she'd get a taste of her own medicine!
Zero empathy x
Doctors don’t call when appointments booked x
Rude reception x
Doctors unable to diagnosis x
Doctors just hope symptoms go away x
Doctors won’t order test x
If you have proper symptoms of anything, go to A&E or do private tests, this practice are either insanely incompetent or trying to save money by not ordering tests or both!
It’s criminal how poor they are apart from Dr Patel.
If they were a private business they would either close down or have terrible takings.
They will happily allow cancer go unnoticed and not order tests with zero recourse.
Dangerously incompetent!
The nurse refused to see my son although I told him the symptoms and told him he is sick for two weeks and laying in bed for the past 4 days... he just said "wait until Tuesday (and this was Friday), if he doesn't get better give us a call..." in a very cold unsympathetic way, he did not do any effort in recomforting us as we were worried about our son.
The next day my son got worst and we had to go to the A&E... luckily they gave him the right treatment in time...
They should be held responsible, it is criminal to not assist people when they need it, especially if that's what you are supposed to do.
I ended up hanging up on the very rude receptionist there who took my call. I know they do have a lovely receptionist also but this one needs to change her line of work as she definitely is not a peoples person and treats you like a number.
She refused to email my doctor requesting to call me back and told me ring in morning as its not urgent. I told her its affecting my work,my mental state and i have been off sick 3 separate times in last 6 weeks and Im in danger of losing my job. I keep breaking down in floods of tears recently as its all getting too much. She told me ring 111. I told her i already went through 111 online who told me to ring the doctors. What annoys me is she is making the decisions without even trying to email the doctor. It would be a short call just for a prescription.
Its a shame people like this are the reason the reviews are so bad. Doctor Patel is an amazing doctor when you finally do get through.
when it come to reception area particularly their is one member of staff not a people person at all. she is very rude and I'm not only talking about my self. I've seen how she treat people, if she cannot be compassionate, or friendly, or kind she shouldn't've work in a place like this.
