Highland Medical Practice - Orpington Surgery

Excellent treatment, Staff very polite, always trying to help, Dr. Chelvan is very experienced, always puts us at ease. As a family, been visiting this clinic since July ,2018. i have never once been disappointed, diagnoses the problem explains it and provides treatment immediately. highly recommend!

If I could give 0 I would. Why are they still not doing face to face appointments?! How do you examine a patient with back pain over the phone?

Excellent service. My local gp. My procedure is: I called gp to book appointment, doctor called me to do telephone consultation, doctor sent the prescription to my closest pharmacy electronically, then I went to pharmacy to pick up my medicine and I went to gp to provide sample.

Very impressed with the service thus far. Having recently moved to the area my partner and I registered to the practice expecting to wait quite a few weeks before we were onboard. Thankfully, we were registered in less than 48 hours! My first trip to the GP was good also; friendly staff assured that I was seen promptly!

Most helpful surgery I've ever been to.
(2022 update) I have to edit my review as I have seen the service change over the past 2 years. Recently had some palpitations and had to see the doctor. I had to chase up my ECG results from June and have been calling the surgery frequently but they cannot tell me anything. I am still waiting to hear back despite calling many times. It is very alarming when you are waiting for results to be told that they do not know what has happened to your results or where to find them. I await a response. What a shame as this surgery used to be excellent.

Very rude receptionist!

I turned up for my appointment on time and for almost 40 mins I sat waiting to be called in. Asked the receptionist to check what's going on as I needed to get back to work and her response was that I should not disturb her, if I wanted she could cancel my appointment.

this GP is the worse specially with booking appointments, don’t recommend at all!

ey are helpful, friendly and always polite. They always go above and beyond to help me and i honestly cannot rate them highly enough.

Phone consultation with Dr Chevlan today and even tho i have had to shield since last March and have been unable to attend the surgery i received the same friendly, professional and fantastic service as always. Best surgery i have attended. Many Thanks to the Doctors and staff. Elaine Anderson
