I was with this surgery for a few years up until June this year and the reason for the change was down to the lack of care. I started off with a lump on my face which was diagnosed by the doctor here as dirt under the skin so they prescribed antibiotics in February. Six months on and I have had two surgeries for skin cancer leaving me with a six inch scar down the right side of my face which would definitely not have been picked up on had I not changed to the medical group. Avoid this place if at all possible as even getting an appointment is a chew on.

All staff are lovely and will go the extra mile to help where they can. I have never had any problems getting appointments here

This Doctors practice is wonderful. They are always helpful, kind and caring. I have been with them for over 40 years. The new Dr. Is great too.

I've always found the staff lovely and extremely helpful.

It's very difficult to get through on the phone, especially since most appointments are now "on the day" booking. I believe investing some form of call queueing system would greatly improve the patient experience and relive a lot of stress when trying to get through to the reception. For the time being it's easier to actually go in person at 8 am to request an appointment.

It's also very difficult to know who are the actually GPs at the surgery now as it feels like barring one regular doctor, that the rest may be locums, add in having most appointments as telephone appointments makes it very difficult to build up a rapport.

As I said, the staff are lovely, however it feels like they may be understaffed for the demand for their services, which is resulting in frustration from the service users.

Rang and asked for a GP call back, no call. Rang back and they advised the GP had put out a prescription for a medication I'm already taking, with no relief!!
The reception staff do not listen!
Can hardly move as my back is in serious spasm after a violent seizure, this was explained to reception staff. They don't really seem bothered! Thanks!

This surgery has been absolutely fantastic with me. I was with Sacriston surgery and the level of service from the doctors and staff was appalling, so i tried Browney. What a difference. Helpfull, professional and just really really nice. Thank you for you support and assistance. Keep it up because you are definitely 100% top of your profession.
