Transferred to Red Lion Surgery a few months ago after allegedly poor support from previous surgery.
Always contact Red Lion Surgery after peak periods and have always had the phone answered by staff with a most caring and supportive culture.

I have tried to speak and visit to this surgery twice in the last year. The first time i visited was before covid had hit and i was turned away for unknown reasons and would not let me see the doctor after i had payed for parking. Today i had called them at 8 am on the dot and had to ring them constantly 74 times until i had reached an answer. When they finally answered, i got the answer that the doctor will have to call me back in the morning due to Covid 19 which i had no problem with, however at 1 pm i still never received a phone call so i called them back as i had work later in the day, so i called them back to be told that the doctor "tried" to call me back when i have not received any missed calls on my phone and even checked they rang the right number. I now have to wait again tomorrow to call back and try to get in touch for another phone call.

I have just read an article in a local paper on line , and I would once again like to commend Dr . Gary Free . In the article he voiced concerns about people not seeking help from their G.P during the pandemic . I know these have been very frightening , difficult times but from personal experience with my daughter I realise the need to seek help and see your G.P . Dr Free is an excellent and empathic doctor and I am very glad he voiced his concerns

Dr G Free,
I have got to say excellent GP been amazing with me and hubby, I can not fault him at all, that’s my personal opinion, and I would rather see Dr Free.
Reception staff are very good too especially remembering who you are, very polite staff,

Appalling care from the NHS. I have a foot that is bleeding everyday and they won't give me a number for the referral to the podiatrist to chase up. I've been waiting over 2 months to have this sorted and I've been told 'there's nothing we/you can do'.

Also tried to book a test for ADHD but told I am not eligible since I am an adult. What exactly does my national insurance pay for if I have to go private for everything?

RIP NHS

I can honestly say I've never had a problem with our surgery. Dr. Free, the Staff on the Reception and the Nurses are all very friendly and so helpful. The surgery have helped me and my husband so much and went the extra mile, when I needed them.
So well done and keep up the good work.

Absolutely ridiculous. Can never get in touch, lines always busy. Told to ring at 8am, can't get in touch untill 10am then told can't be see today as I need to call at 8am bearing in mind I tried to call since 8am and to call again tomorrow at 8am. Worst decision I ever made was to register at this GP!!!
