Horrendous experience: impossible to get a face to face appointment, failed to send off NHS referral properly, wouldn't give out additional Epipen even through the hospital instructed them too, ignored information requests from private medical.... Save yourself the stress and avoid this practice!

Further to your response - Ashford and St Peters confirmed you sent the referrals 6 weeks after we asked you and you didn't do it properly. They were also annoyed that you wouldn't provide an additional Epipen, putting my little ones life at risk.

Terrible practice. Doctors are rude, insensitive and are eager to get you off the phone. They don’t listen to your issue or needs and will prescribe you anything to get rid of you. When I had a second opinion privately I was told the medication prescribed wasn’t right for me. Really terrible service, making people feel worse at the time that they need help most. Don’t go to this practice, there is no level of customer service, compassion or care for patients. Receptionist staff are also incredibly rude.

No wonder they have 2 stars across 43 reviews!! I do not normally write reviews, but a certain woman on the front desk for this practice is beyond a joke. The receptionist refused to provide her name (against their "policy") - classic! Well it wont take long for anyone to realise who I am referring to. So rude, one worded answers, acts like she cant be bothered to talk to you, I rang 4 times in the allocated call up periods, she refused every time to give me an appointment with the doctor (of course covering her back for how rude she originally was). This practise has now been reported to the GMC & PALs.

This practice should be struck off as a medical centre, it does nothing for the patients and the staff are rude, unhelpful and in this day and age do not seems to have any idea on how to talk to patients. To actually talk to a doctor you have to be interrogated by an individual who puts so many questions to you rather than just booking an appointment. I do realise that during COVID it was necessary to have protection in place, but this surgery has not changed its policy and the surgery is more difficult to get inside than Fort Knox. The number of times I have complained about the service they provide is not worth counting, but when you aSk to speak to the manager about your problems, he is never available or not at the practice today. Please improve this service.

Dr Delaimey is a vile man. I was with this practise until I was old enough to choose my own doctor. I left as soon as I could! Dr Delaimey knows exactly who I am even if he is willing to lie about that fact. He is in the wrong job! And the receptionists are rude and nosey. The place is a joke do NOT reccomend!

I’ve been a patient at this surgery under Dr Delaimys care since 2020. He has been an outstandingly caring doctor, the best I have ever had. He takes time and care to help his patients to the best he can, going over and beyond and really cares about patient wellbeing. He takes time and has patience to talk thru every concern I’ve had and always provides the best care for his patients best interest. His help and care has been invaluable to me and my family and I am so grateful. For such a busy surgery he always makes the time to give such great care and is really invested in helping his patients. Thank you for everything Dr.Delaimy.
Would highly recommend this surgery and doctor if you want real genuine care and support. 5star service

Absolutely shameful, I’ve just been on hold for 30 minutes for finally someone picking up and telling me sorry first come first serve… she had zero empathy, I’ve just had to ring 111 and they told me to bring back the surgery and I refuse to do that so they find me another doctor.. 8 weeks ago, I was taken into A&E and I was seriously ill and symptoms of come back.. and all the receptionist to say to me was sorry first come first serve.. absolutely disgusting

Also, to add prior to me being taken into A&E, I called Ashley medicals a few months ago, complaining of abdominal pain.. he said he was gonna put me forward for a CT scan, but I would have to wait a few weeks.. ( which I did ) I had no phone call.. so I called Ashley medical practice back, and basically they made a mistake and they hadn’t sent off for me to have a CT scan.. basically if they had put me forward for that CT scan they would’ve discovered my kidney infection and my kidney stone and I wouldn’t have been taken into hospital and it was really hit and miss.. then today I rang back up complaining of the same pain and she was very rude had no empathy and basically told me to call back.. I’m so upset that this has happened again and I will be put in a severe complaining about this lady on the phone.. and also the neglect a few months ago. When none of this could’ve happened it could’ve easily been sold by doing a simple water infection check and I could’ve just been put on antibiotics..

I can’t seem to reply back to the doctors comment underneath this so Iv edited what I’ve..

The lady on the phone told me that you had no appointments left, so I rang 111.. 111 apologised on your behalf. I’m not quite sure how my comment is abusive. The lady on the phone was very cold and told me first come first serve when I was pretty much in tears on the phone to her… I explain to her what has just happened to me and I was literally in hospital and it was touch and go.. there are ways of talking to somebody that is very upset, and she didn’t talk to me in the right manner… thank you. Yes I have put a complaint in, I feel that all of the above could’ve been avoided. If I was brought into surgery the minute I complained about a pain in my stomach two months ago… I have now changed surgeries. I no longer want to stay with his practice.

I registered my sister Victoria Connolly, with this practice with some trepidation having read some of the reviews. I am pleased to report that so far we have received nothing but good service, friendliness and efficiency. I wrote to the practice regarding my sister and promptly received a call giving me a telephone appointment with a Doctor who immediately arranged blood tests, urine samples and a review of her medication and diabetes. So far so good. Thank you
