I called today regarding a relative that is currently quite poorly, i dont live in the area, the receptionist I spoke to was so helpful in pointing me in the direction to get thr correct help. It is reassuring to come across someone that genuinely wants to help and genuinely cares. I think her name was amajit. She is an asset to the surgery

No care for the patients, the receptionists are stuck up like Jaz and Amarjit.they just want easy life and don’t want to answer phones.I saw it with me own eyes huffing and puffing when phone rings and even let the phone ring for ages and ages.shut this surgery down and Belmont drive down.

This Surgery is not an agreement, very difficult contact, an hour before the visit I was canceled. the service is not nice. every time I want to make an appointment they have problems and I come very rarely I use their help. I advise against and recommend another Surgery

It can be okay not to have an appointment considering the actual circumstances.
However, receiving replies like
you have to call every day at 8 to see if you can have an appointment or
fill up an appointment online which takes time to do, them miss the GP call because you're in a meeting, you apparently have to specify in the form your availabilities which is not clarified anywhere. Therefore you have to book another appointment because it's the government rule not us 😤
All this with a very unfriendly tone...

Edit:
Just received the GP''s call without having to book another appointment. Not sure what happened...
Changed from 1 to 3 starts as I received the desired outcome.

Uwful service, not at all organised. Impossible to get appointment, not listened too. Get prescriptions difficult, fobbed off all the time. Relative has uti and we are asked to call back following week by that time patient will be in agnoy. If no general or emergency appointments are available at least give patient some advice in what to do next l. Very unprofessional.
