Gossops Green Medical Centre

The reception are abysmal with zero degree of customer service.
One cannot see a Doctor, all kinds of excuses, Covid being the latest. Accessibility to a GP is dire. They don’t care about anyone but themselves.

The worst GP's ever. Takes forever to get thru on the phone once you do you'll find out there are no appointments left for the day and to book in advance you are looking for at least 2 wks. When you walk in the staff love to ignore people at the reception. Doctor's are nice once you get to see them. They need more doctors for sure and they should open Saturdays. I don't go there if I really don't have to. The practice manager obviously doesn't know how to manage the practice.

Since COVID they are even worse. Now in 2022, they are literally white behind the door and no one is allowed in. They deny people care.

Staff work friggin hard when you take in to account the pressure all staff at GGM are in, no one's perfect but GGM do put things right when things go wrong. I've had 22 years of outstanding service for which I thank all past and present staff.

Phone lines doesn't work or no one pick phone even at 8:30 or 2pm. They don't have appointments most of the time. If someone is sick or feeling awful they must go A&E as phones lines doesn't connect.

I sympathise with the pressures GP's are under right now but they often don't take you seriously and try to pass you off to someone else. It is almost impossible to book an appointment over the phone. Even if you phone at the exact times you will usually be told no appointments are available. Unable to use econsult either.

I would like to say how impressed I was with Practice Nurses Sharon, Kim, and Maggie. I haven't been to the surgery for 3 years and was very apprehensive about my appointments but they couldn't have been any kinder, efficient, and professional. They are an asset to Gossops Green Medical Centre and I would like to thank them for being simply amazing.

I’m a patient with 50;year older,obviously for some sources it might be insignificant, with previously experience since December last year I have developed a suspicious huge spot in the eye , tried to get hold of GP ,but unfortunately could be able to se me , guessing doctor said it was a Sty !! A simple prescription with tablets to solve ..but eventually didn’t work!! Started growing more and getting bigger, called GP several times couldn’t se me they was to busy !! Went to walking Center personally and receptionist told me couldn’t be able to help me ,,was fully booked after I was (1) hour on the phone waiting !! 2 days later went to QVH they have diagnosed 2 CYSTS in my eye!! I have an emergency surgery yesterday,all went absolutely perfectly , I have raised a few facts regarding Gossops Green medical ,the doctors of QVH was quite concerned about ignoring this serious issues!! At the moment I’m more confident to change GP from different town,!! Gossops Green benefits doesn’t bring any positive answer to anyone , hopefully hope NHS or OMBUDSMAN search and review this place..

The service is intolerable. I am actually consider killing myself as this (not to mention the NHS in general) are disgusting. We would all be better off dead as a statistic. The system is a joke
