Alconbury Surgery

Been with the Brampton doctors for about 25yrs. They are all great, one of my favourites is Dr Leonard I couldn't have asked for better service from her when I was very poorly in Feb till present. Not forgetting the lovely receptionists

Had a really lovely experience here since moving, every single doctor/nurse has been so gentle, kind and attentive. They are incredibly conscious about mental health which is so important. The front desk ladies are fabulous too, especially Alison who is just a gem :)
The surgery as a whole is a real asset to the community.

I’ve had a problem with a lump under my arm for over two years and struggling to get it sorted with this surgery. Ever since Covid they have stopped caring about younger people and focus mainly on the elderly. On February the 9th I finally got seen face to face and the doctor I saw referred for me to get it taken out. Fast forward to today I phoned the referral place as instructed if I hadn’t heard anything by this take just to be told that they reviewed the referral on the 17th of February and instructed my surgery to advise me on what to do next. Good job as I never got a phone call from my surgery because like what I previously put they don’t care about young people anymore. I’ll never use this doctor surgery again even if it’s a serious situation at this point I’d be better to cut the lump out myself! Absolutely disgusting.

Hands down the best Drs surgery we have every been registered with. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, be that phoning up on the day or booking online and the staff are just brilliant.

I have had to use the surgery fairly frequently recently after being unwell and I can honestly say everyone had been amazing. Reception have always been great and ensured I was given an appointment quickly. The GPs, nurses and HCAs I have seen have been so lovely and professional. I am not used to being unwell and so this has all been quite a difficult time for me. However, I really feel listened to at this surgery. Nothing is too much for the staff and they have thoroughly investigated my issues, without leaving anything unchecked.

I have also had to use the surgery when my son has been unwell, again they have been nothing but brilliant with him and so quick to get him seen to.

I am so grateful to have access to such a brilliant surgery for myself and my family.

Over the course of more than a decade, have been part of many gp surgeries all around the country and this is hands down the best in terms of administration staff, dispensary, midwives, nurses and doctors alike. In all fronts they are amazing.

They are polite and aware of experience the patients have in each touch point. The waits for things have been the lowest I have experienced in UK. We have been in surgeries in Scotland as well as england. Whether that is a referral or medicine. A slight inconvenience if any is that opening hours are a bit unusual and needs few reminders to keep up with if moved from an area with opening hours same on all days. But if that is in anyway contributing to how awesome they are in terms of rest or co ordination of staff, I would not want it changed! 😍

Recently joined the surgery after moving into the area and the Doctor's are wonderful and very thorough and all staff have been absolutely lovely, helping with all queries kindly and fast - very glad we seem to have found a gold standard GP here! :)

I've never had a good experience at this surgery. The doctors aren't interested and miss obvious medical issues. Dispensary staff are downright rude. Would give a 0 if possible.
