Reception have always been very helpful both over the phone and in person. Never had any issues with speaking to a doctor when I've needed to. Would be helpful if access to medical record on Patient Access was the standard rather than a requested service, other than that, good service.

I am at the Carnforth surgery and all the staff, medical and non-medical, have in every instance that I have used their services been super helpful and professional. No query is too big or too small. Thank you for your excellent service!

Absolutely terrible service and staff. I have put orders in for medication that Dr has prescribed,leaving the order form in the letter box,giving atleast 4 days as they require,every 4 weeks ivd gone back into collect all the meds listed,and they NEVER give all that are required!! 1st time they had nothing too collect,claimed Dr who wrote the prescription hadn't sent it through,only when i started to kick up a noise did anyone start to take an interest and oh guess what they claimed the Dr(upstairs in same building) had just sent the prescription through electronically,when i had filled out the order form 5 days previously.
Move on 4 weeks and same situation,3 of the 4 meds I'm on ONLY in the bag,only found out that when i had driven 10 miles home,go back next day for the 4th one.
Move on another 4 weeks,oh same story again,this time on a Saturday there happened too be a receptionist of the Drs surgery working,who checked my medication records and the prescription they kept back is on a repeat prescription and doesnt even need to be pre-ordered qnd give them 4 days notice to be ready to collect,and once again only when ive had to kick up a fuss and that they grab a box off the shelf and dispense while im still there.
It won't happen again as come Monday morning i'll be informing Drs surgery that any and all prescriptions will be sent to an alternative pharmacy as this place is purely incompetent

Just awful. Everything takes weeks and you get different information every time you ring up. Currently all I'm after is some documents so I can try a private service. This has been on going for over 2 months, and I haven't had 2 people tell me the same thing in 8 calls. Terrible.

Absolutely shocking. Today, I phoned their receptionist at Carnforth to complain about the constant (more than 10) unsolicited texts that I am receiving from them requesting that I book a Covid 19 jab with them. I am not a patient of theirs and requested that the texts stop. I found the receptionist rude and offered no resolution to my request. Further, she stated that I was not the first person today (who is not registered to them) to complain. This must stop or I will take further action. Enough is enough.

I feel like your experience is very much dependent on which staff you deal with, both reception staff and medical staff. Pot luck. Some are super-kind & helpful, listen well and really supportive and lovely. Others are disinterested, very unhelpful, even bordering on rude.

The Dr’s and nurses are absolutely great. My experience with the reception staff, not so great. They come across as quite curt, not very friendly, which isn’t great considering they deal with patients in need. A real shame.

Very dissatified my chronic illnesses review took 8mins bloods, weight and blood pressure, rapid medication overview and bye bye. No mention of any chronic illness and got the impression you were not aware of any of my health history. All in all not worth the paper it was written on should have stayed in bed instead of forcing myself to the app whilst still suffering from a chest infection. Poor show all round heaven help us oldies.
