Feel so sorry for staff always nice and polite but the system definitely needs to be changed. I go to work and there is no way I can queue for an appointment or phone for an appointment at 8am the surgery is unfortunately not catering for people that work still trying to book appointment since 4th April also unfair if you do get what is called an appointment you have to have your phone on you all day not knowing what time the Doctor will call 🤕

I am fortunately not a patient with this doctor's surgery, however, my mum is. She phoned up asking to book an appointment to see a doctor, which was rudely declined by the receptionist over the phone and was told she needed to book an appointment online. Fast forward to later on in the day, I tried to help my mum with booking an appointment online, however, there are no online booking options available, only online consultations. We then try again by trying to book her an online consultation, which wasn't available as it is stated that the doctors are "too busy" and she will have to research the problem she has by herself through the NHS website! Please go back to taking appointment bookings over the telephone, it was a more easier and reliable way to ensure that people are seen by doctors!

Spoke to a lady on reception called Jackie and she was super helpful! She even went out of her way to got next door to speak to the pharmacy on my behalf because i was struggling to get hold of them, that's customer service you don't see anymore. Thanks Jackie!

Like most practices. Springhead have been through a difficult couple of years, but the problems seem to be being resolved! It is still difficult to contact no the phone but staff on reception and manning the telephones are friendly, well trained and helpful. The clinical staff, both on the phone and face to face are caring, sympathetic and proactive in searching for a good outcome. The nursing team in particular are patient understanding and despite their heavy workload never appear to be rushed!
The steady improvement overt the last few months is remarkable!

Never had any bad experiences, getting the snip soon, very easy process to book. Can’t wait for that to be done✂️🥴🫣.

The surgery gets a bad reputation but since they’ve merged it has been a lot better and a lot easier to get appointments in my opinion .

When you do get an appointment or get seen it's usually very efficient. Despite this place being a practice for a lot of graduates, you will occasionally get to see the same doctor and get a real solution to your health issues. That being said, the main issue I have found here is repeating myself to 3 or more doctors on separate occasions due to a lack of understanding. The most embarrassing moment I had here was a junior doctor googling an answer. I laughed and said I could do that at home. I came in with infected skin and now you're going to tell me I have 5 types of cancer. My flippant attitude wasn't welcome and I didn't get a solution... I won't give names and I won't be in a hurry to return.

Utterly atrocious doctors. As a disabled person i require regular medication. The doctors lost all trace of my medical history, and my prescriptions. Because of their incompetence I’ve been left without the medication I need, no apology. When they eventually agreed to send my notes to the pharmacy to be able to pick up my meds they never actually sent anything across. I’ve been left with not medications, no note as to when I will receive them after making several in person trips. Beyond awful service here, for anyone that needs regular medical appointments and checkups please avoid this place. It’s clear they have complete disregard for their patients.

Ridiculous lottery system to try and make an appointment, whereby you have to phone at 8am along with dozens of other poor patients. The phone is completely blocked then, but it turns out that all appointments are fully booked before 8am anyway as people queue outside the surgery at 7.30am!
This surgery's inability to deal with so many people shows it is clearly oversubscribed.
However, the nurse is very helpful, the repeat prescription service semi-efficient, and all staff politely do their best, despite this absurd situation.
