No empathy at all for the patient. If have been extremely but they never got see me a doctor, they only provide nurses. They have prescribed a medicine that has made me extremely sick due to its side effects. The doctor are busy to how quickly they finish, doesn't matter the quality of their treatment. In the last appointment the doctor didn't even let me speak.

Moved GP service to manor park where they actually care for the patients. I was with upton lane 30 years and it is sad to see the receptionists and Doctors have ruined this surgery. I emailed 2 months back to the surgery manager and no one has even bothered to acknowledge the complaint I made of a staff. I have seen the receptionists talk to patients really rudely and it’s very difficult to make appointment with them. There should be an inspection done at this practice because they are not fit to be open. Look at reviews before you join this surgery. Sad to leave this GP which has been there since I was born but I have no choice.

In the time it takes to get an appointment at Upton Medical Centre you could probably qualify as a doctor yourself. They do everything they can to avoid giving you one and when they do they don't tell you, then if you miss their two calls (which come within minutes of each other) you're back to square one. Do everything you can to avoid registering with them.

Honestly this is probably the worst medical centre.

***DO NOT JOIN!***

I’m so glad I moved to a different place.
I recently had a chest infection and I called in to book an appointment, I was told to book the online triage and someone will contact me in the next few days? What is this nonsense? They try really hard not to give you a face2face appointment. Avoid this place at all costs!

Absolutely appalling, they do not give a hoot about the patients and are so slow to do ANYTHING. 1 star is actually generous I wish I could give none but unfortunately that isn’t possible! Avoid this GP surgery at all costs as they do not care about the patients and will only make the patients condition worse! 😡

Terrible, avoid like a plague. There are messages/posters all over the surgery about respecting staff however the staff make it a point to disrespect patients. Stinking attitude from doctors and receptionists. I write this as I hear staff being rude to a patient and then proceeding to badmouth him despite the patient saying absolutely nothing and having already left the surgery.

You send a request over to this GP and they take upto a month just to process your request. Receptionists are so rude and have a harsh tone. This GP needs staff that actually want to help and work. Would give this GP 0 star if I could, horrible service and everything is so slow. The staff on front desk need to change their attitude and speak politely. Just cos I want to complain about a service they get offended when it's your fault for not doing your job properly. Ridiculous!

With this surgery over 12 years, use their services very rarely when I needed. my experience is good with them from booking appointments to medication. Some area may need improvement what I understand they've load of patients, surgery is busy most of the time and they shouldn't registering new patients.and can focus more on quality of services. Overall it is a good experience they look after me
