My mum had a blood test 2 weeks ago after feeling unwell for months. When she phoned it took 45 minutes to get through only to be told the doctor hasn't had time to look at the results when it's to do with thyroid and low zinc levels both important and potentially life harming. I dred to think if it was tests for cancer. It was so much better before the practices joined. Not enough doctors.

Disgusting attitude from a certain receptionist. She's extremely opinionated, rude and thinks she is able to dish out medical advice! I've had a few runnings with her over the years. Crosby village surgery is now located under crossways. I'm sick to death of dealing with her attitude. I'm going to be making a formal complaint as I dread to think how she would effect someone who was coping with bad news or had poor mental health.

Wanted to say a big thank you for sorting a prescription at short notice. On holiday and forgot medication. Cathy was calm and professional. Greatly appreciated.

Doctors are doing their best, and being really helpful when you actually get to see them. They are caring and professional, there’s nothing I could complaint.

However, the surgery service is terrible, they recently had a new telephone system which means you can wait in the queue, but after waited for 30 mins and it’s my turn they simply put my phone down??? Is it a connection fault or someone is doing it on purpose? Because this happened many MANY times! Need an explanation.

I’ve been with the surgery for a few years now and the reception staff are absolutely great. One in particular is Ann as she goes the extra mile to help with her due diligence. Considering the challenges that the surgery is having with C19 she is the best in my opinion.
The rest of the staff are also just as professional and courteous as well in these trying times with GP surgeries.
Just one slight negative is that more appointments are needed and also more phone lines to help ease the stress for all concerned.

There seems to be a lot of mixed reviews on here but I just wanted to share my experience. I rang a few days ago and understandably it was busy with being early morning, when I spoke to the receptionist she was extremely professional and friendly and advised to go online and do an e-consultation.
I did this and a couple of days later I received a text from the Dr. and then a phone call with an appointment the next day.
The Dr. I saw put me at ease, was very professional and summarised our conversation and next steps.

Overall from my experience I would recommend this practise and would like to express my thanks.

I am absolutely disgusted by lack of service from Crossways Surgery. I've been suffering since 22nd October with sciatica, received a prescription for codeine which have helped slightly. Last Wednesday 3rd November I tried to get another phone appointment 🤣🤣🤣 by time I'd phoned 25 times got told all gone phone tomorrow. 4th November I actually got through by 8.15 to be told yet again all appointments gone do econsult which I immediately did. Should of had reply by 5th at 6.30 still waiting & still in pain 😡😡😡
