Woodbridge Hill Surgery

It is rarely nice going to the dr's but I have always had a decent experience at Woodbridge hill. The Dr's and Nurses have always made me feel comfortable and reassured. The online system is good if it is not a emergency and you are able to wait for an appointment. My only complaint is the long hold time if trying to get through by phone but this is not unique to Woodbridge Hill.

Hate leaving negative reviews but so infuriated by how I was just spoken to by a member of staff from this surgery. Rude and had such a bad attitude.

I waiting for my appointment a while ago and watched as the poor receptionist was getting shouted at by a patient. I hope they are getting good pay for that job, management clearly needs to step up.

Lump on side of my kneck took one feel and side what they think it is and it gotten bigger and is sore all I got is a call that’s it nothing getting done about it in stead of thinking what it is Carey out some tests as I’m concerned about it

Tried to get an appointment for our son due to excessive coughing and difficulty breathing which he cannot explain as he is 6 year old autistic and non verbal. Eventually got a phone appointment which ended with call us in 2 weeks if it persists. Took him to a private GP and he was diagnosed with a chest infection. Same symptoms myself after a few days, explained the situation and got a phone appointment after 3 days, told them I thought it was possibly a chest infection but they advised it wasn’t. Been to private GP today and guess what, diagnosed with a chest infection. I understand the NHS is under pressure but come on… What if it had been like this for 3 weeks? They've also been quite rude and abrupt over the phone in the past. Disappointing as I grew up in the area and this was my GP, never had any issues until I moved back to the area and rejoined. Sorry to say will be changing surgery.

Staff are lovely but I have tried to book 2 appointments with them and they have been messed up both times. The first was bloods. I rang up to book a doctors call to get approval for a bloods appointment and they told me at the time that they booked the appointment which turned out to be false when I turned up for it. They put on my file that I needed bloods but failed to actually book the appointment like they said they had. The second was a contraception implant removal. I had booked an appointment in person to have my implant removed from my arm whilst pointing to it yet the receptionist booked me in for a coil removal instead. When I turned up for my appointment the nurse said she was unable to remove my implant as it was minor surgery and had to be done by a GP. I now have to wait another 2 weeks to get my expired implant removed because the receptionist booked me in for the wrong appointment. Lovely people but completely feckless.

Awful experience at this practice with the Nurse (Rosey). She Spoke to myself and my daughter in a rude manner and refused to administer her depo injection as she didn't have time, knowing full well her injection was over due. She was rushed out the door and told to go to a clinic that wasn't even open or had any appointments
Would avoid this practice at all.costs and go else where that actually offers a good practice service

I have been registered at Woodbridge surgery for many years, my experience with the surgery has always been great. The whole team, doctors, nurses and reception have always been fantastic. A special thank you to Dr Carlyon, she is phenomenal, she has always looked after me well over the years, a truly wonderful doctor/lady
