I feel very let down and bullied by this surgery. Appalling attitude by receptionists and Dr Smith whom I have every confidence is a good GP but sadly has an alienating approach with patients. I found the rudeness, lack of care and lack of integrity beyond belief! I only wish I had recorded my conversations.

I called asking advice about a serious eye injury, explaining that I had been blinded for several minutes and was told to book an appointment with an optician. A week later, on meeting the optician, I was told that I needed an "urgent" hospital appointment. Should have been told to go to A&E. Dreadful!

Almost impossible to speak to a doctor without going via a receptionist. It would be easier to get a pizza delivered from Bensons for Beds than get your medical issue sorted at a GP these days

I rang the receptionist this morning to request an appointment for my daughter and myself. I was spoken to by a man who was extremely rude and entitled. I was taken aback by their clear lack of people skills. Possibly a job working away from people might be a better option!

In the past I've always had positive experiences at this surgery even though the reviews are poor.

Right at this moment in time, I have to give this surgery five stars. Even though I haven't seen a GP face to face, they have been exceptionally supportive during a sudden/recent illness I've had. I probably didn't need to see anyone face to face as when presented with photos of my sepsis at the surgery, an ambulance was called anyway. On my release from hospital after 20 days and 3 ops, they have been great in listening to my needs and providing certain meds to help me get comfortable.

Poor customer service skills by all, rude on the phone, forgetting prescriptions and the doctors just don't listen. Dr Smith is especially creepy. I decided to move Drs to somewhere further away after dealing with Dr Smith! Find a different surgery, don't waste your time here!

Had an awful experience today. Got a referral from 111 to be seen today for a chest infection and possible prescription for antibiotics. The nurse who called me after my 111 conversation explicitly stated I need to be seen today. The DR at west Coker ordered for me to hand in a urine sample to check for a UTI. I have spoken to a few medical workers to find out what on earth the relationship between a UTI and a chest infection are, and the answer is unclear. Obviously a mistake was made. And no I did not get seen by a doctor. I tried to politely explain my situation but the receptionist was just rude and did not take me seriously at all. Extremely disappointed that I now have to rely on emergency care. What a disgrace.

Not happy with this surgery!
Especially with dr Smith performance who did not help me when I needed help.
I had to get my medication via third party
Disgusting 🤮
My partner have told me about the dreadful experience with Dr Smith as well and told me to avoid him so I will be in the future!
