The fact that you can only arrange an appointment through my GP between 7-10 is the most stupid thing I have ever encountered. A three hour window? And when this is missed due to work, you call or walk in only to not be listened to and told to do it online. Are they not capable or arranging appointment? The receptionists if you do see them face to face or on the phone are really rude as well. I've never had a good encounter with them. By far the worst surgery I have been with in regards to receptionists. The GPs I have encountered have been nice and understanding.

New patient registration forms were submitted over 18 days ago for my new baby and despite calling twice, still haven’t been put on the system. My baby is almost 6 weeks old now and needs to be on system to book our 6 week post natal review. I was told the lady who does this is off sick and they don’t know when he will be put on system. Not very helpful.

There is one receptionist in particular who is always so rude and makes you feel like an inconvenience for calling/rushes you off the phone. The same receptionist once refused to put me an appointment request through via phone as I was unable to get online between the 7-10am window. I was heavily pregnant and needed to see a GP upon advise from my midwife but she didn’t care and said it needs to be done online unless an emergency (note that if it was an emergency I wouldn’t be wasting my time on the phone I’d be at A&E) I ended up just hanging up as the receptionist just would not help me.
All other staff have been helpful in the past, just this one receptionist and I hate calling incase she answers now. She really needs some empathy and a better phone manner.

Awful. Really rude receptionists, impossible to get an appointment. Use ask my GP to eventually get a call back from a doctor but the whole process is long and it is extremely rare you'll be able to see a doctor in person. Definitely puts you off seeking help in the first place. One receptionist in particular (Shirley) is extremely rude and you feel as though you are being interrogated and being a nuisance. Going to see if I can move surgery, this is the worst one by a long way I've been with and I haven't even been registered long.

Despite trying to actually speak to or see a doctor regarding any of my many health issues, the last occasion I had a phone appointment booked with the gp, a random doctor from up north somewhere rang asking me why she was ringing and what my issue was??? I cannot honestly find anything good or positive to say about this surgery except abismal service. Just dreadful.

Called to register. Told to go on the website and print the form. The website says the form is currently unavailable.
Went to go to register where I was greeted like I was some sort of embuggerance.
Receptionist says to me have you got a registration form filled out. However when I said no she told me you can get it from the website. To which I told her its not available. So instead of her apologising to me she says oh nobody told me. One of the receptionist was lovely and very helpful shame her colleague was so rude and miserable.
Manors cost nothing.

I've never had any issues getting appointments, Dr's have always been fantastic. My dad had a nasty infection a few days ago, was seen the same day. Dr was brilliant, very thorough and kind. My only feed back would be when calling up to make an appointment, was told to put it on Ask My GP, which is fine for me, but just thinking of those who aren't very confident with technology. Thank you all staff, you are appreciated x

If I could give less than one star I would! The lack of care this surgery shows is disgusting. The receptionists (with the exception of one lovely young woman) were incredibly rude and unhelpful. The doctor, when I finally got a face to face consultation, was also incredibly rude, disregarded all my concerns regarding my new diagnosis and did not provide any help to understanding my new condition further. I am now waiting for a prescription to tackle a symptom of my condition which is not life treating nor bothered me. Absolutely appalling and will be making a complaint.

Ever since I joined this doctor surgery I've only been seen once, once since August 2021. I'm now currently 20 weeks pregnant and have the flu, cannot rest with it and have the cough on my chest. I contacted ask my gp yesterday at 9 am and i am still waiting for a phone call at 6.08pm now. Also I called oaklands surgery last month, and they took so long that i ended up calling 111 then ended up.going to A&E because of bad stomach pains that could've been appendicitis. No wonder A&E is busy!
