Debenham Surgery (Debenham Group Practice)

Fantastic service. My call to the receptionist was answered immediately in the morning. I was offered a same day appointment. A sample was tested by a Nurse that afternoon and I had a telephone consultation with a Dr in the evening offering a solution to my problem. Brilliant. Thank you.

A good doctors surgery.
I find when attending it is always a positive experience,
Handy for private HGV medicals too.
Doctors always call back promptly (if you are not attending) and very helpful.
Visited Otley branch last week which was excellent with a quick in out turnaround. Nice friendly staff and nurses as well.
Dont think you would find better.

Always have a positive experience . Always seen on time and never in a rush to get me out. Always managed to get an appointment. in one instance during lockdown I called with a minor problem and received a call back from a G.P within 20 mins. This is the best surgery I have ever been with.

Dreadful absolutely dreadful, I struggled to get my eighty four year old father a GP appointment, very concerning!

Nurses , ground floor staff and Receptionists are GREAT , but as soon as you go up the pay grade the utter lack of interest shown by Doctors who now worry more about their early retirement to go Locum on massive money is very worrying. Their list of Doctors is HUGE but none seem to be in more than odd days ? i assume they pop up as Locums elsewhere for £1750 a day / £950 half day. But what about patients ????? who get jumped about from Doctor to stranger Doctor who has no idea of any long standing issues. Its a typical NHS self made disaster.

At a time when GPs are being vilified for understandably being unable to see all patient requests face to face, I would like to congratulate the Debenham Surgery. Since becoming a patient in June my partner and I have found the service provided to be responsive and caring. Thank you!

Dispensary at Otley completely disorganised. Put repeat request in and went to collect 10 days later. I had previously had difficulty getting a prescription within a reasonable time so ordered in plenty of time. Medication not ready this time either so had to wait for them to prepare it. Was then told half my prescription wasn't available and they would have to order it in. When I pointed out how long ago I had requested it I was told the prescription had only been printed off 6 days before. Surely that is plenty of time to complete a prescription request. I now have to go without my medication until they can get a delivery! Not a good service.

Flu jab clinic on Saturday was awful. Husband spent all morning queuing with his mum. Needs better organising in future, causing traffic chaos on a busy road
