Riverside Surgery

On Friday I felt unwell and rang the surgery, almost immediately a doctor rang me back and invited me to come into the surgery. I was seen by a 5th year student doctor, under the guidance of my regular doctor. I cannot fault the care and attention that I received. The student was extremely thorough, and as he was overseen by the doctor I was very confident. I was at the surgery for well over an hour and feel I received the very best attention, with a follow up appointment in 2 weeks time. Gold stars all round for all staff that dealt with me.

My Prescription is never ready for collection
despite me sending emails, reminder notes and seeing reception staff face to face,this is frustrating and annoying as the staff think I've got nothing better to do than hang around the surgery all the time .

I was contacted by the practice on behalf of one of the doctors who had asked me to make an appointment for a telephone consultation. I tried over the period of a week to make this requested appointment with no success so I gave up !

This surgery is very good. Complainants need to experience a GP surgery outside of the South West, this one is brilliant in comparison

I phoned up regarding a sick note to get told! Not asked told to do it online and you don’t need to speak to a doctor for that!! I felt the receptionist was rude and didn’t want to talk or had the time to talk! Not impressed!

Excellent Doctors and facilities. Always manage to get an appointment and when the kids are ill they are seen the same day with a call back from a Doctors within hours. The storys I hear from my friends and colleagues who live in other areas makes me realise how lucky we are in Bovey.

This surgery is second to none in my opinion.We always get the help we need. The Doctors often ring me to check things are OK as my husband has dementia and I'm awaiting hip surgery. The receptionists are so kind patient and helpful we are very lucky.
