Absolutely disgusted by the receptionists at brook health centre. They well and truly messed me & my newborn around. I rang up and asked to make an appointment for my baby to have her 8 week jabs when she was 6 weeks old, I was told I would receive a letter in the post and I couldn’t make an appointment at that time. I left it and left it till she turned 10 weeks and still hadn’t heard anything so I rang them up and asked to book her in as she was past 8 weeks, the receptionist made an appointment for me… great… I went down for my appointment waited for ages In the waiting room for them to say they have booked me in for the completely wrong appointment! Spoke to a lady at the front desk who said that my baby couldn’t have her jabs as there was no one in to do them (why on earth did I get given that day then?) I’ve now got to wait till my baby is 12 weeks old for her to have her 8 week jabs so she’s now 4 weeks behind on her immunisation which I am not happy about. I feel like I’ve massively been messed around and the only excuse they had was that I spoke to not 1 but 2 new receptionist and they got it wrong (why wasn’t an experienced receptionist there to help them) I’m very annoyed!

I dont normally leave reviews but Ive had enough of this doctors after 31 years of being here. Everytime I call and get an appointment for my 4 year old child its, they will give you a call. Even diagnosed by a few symptoms given over the phone! Discharge coming out of my childs ear... they will give you a call... injury.... they will give you a call. What happened to a duty of care for your patients??? Im not a doctor or nurse and yet I am to diagnose my childs illness?? The receptionist last night even told me to go and call 111 instead! Absolutely no duty of care anymore! Face to face appointments are needed not just phone appointments!

Worst doctors I’ve ever been to. Some of us work and can’t wait for phone calls due to the nature of our jobs. Told a phone call could be between now and 1pm. I’ve already seen three different doctors and had antibiotics but everything has flared up again so really need to see a doctor. But no, receptionist isn’t allowed to book me in. So why waste a phone call that someone else could have and just book me an appointment. I will be changing doctors we’ve only been with them since April but after my daughter’s prescription was sent to Bicester and my husband’s keeps getting lost, enough is enough. Get some lessons from Islip surgery they get it right.

It was most useful to know what number I was in the telephone queue in the call handling system.
I have always found the receptionists to be very welcoming and professional, both when they answer the telephone and when I attend appointments.

I’ve not been to the Doctors for years so I was a bit anxious when I needed to book an appointment. It did take a while to get through first thing, but the receptionist was very polite and my telephone appointment with the nurse was really helpful. I had a blood test taken by Tracey and I usually dread this because I’ve been known to faint in the past. I genuinely enjoyed myself!! Tracey was amazing and my follow up appointment with Dr Turner was great.

I found everyone I dealt with to be very respectful and helpful.

You all do a great job despite the obvious challenges of being very busy! Thank you so much.

Saw Nurse Lesley Driscoll about an asthma flair up. Very friendly, reassuring and professional. A thorough check up and well explained diagnosis. Follow up booked. Would highly recommend.

Speaking of the maternity care only. Brilliant service from start to finish. Great care from all at the Northampton Trust on our journey. Thanks a lot 😀
