if I could give 0 stars I would, you phone them and it just rings and rings, when someone does eventually pick up, they are normally rude and have a very condescending tone. It's very obvious that no one really wants to help with any issues you're having. I went in for an appointment and waited 40 minutes, someone came and asked for my name so they could check on the system. They went back into the office, packed up their stuff and left the practise. I ended up leaving too because I just got fed up. Not worth it at all, definitely go for another health service.

I started dealing with some severe medical issues, at first there was some miscommunication between us and difficulty accessing treatment but otherwise the doctors remained professional throughout the treatment. There are some negative reviews on Google from previous patients but it's easy to tell that the staff within the surgery take these complaints and criticisms very seriously and have definitely implemented measures to ensure patients receive the best possible treatment moving forward. A personal thank you for all the help I have received from the team.

i have registered with this health service and have seeked help with my mental health. i have gone to nurse practitioner Zoe Boyes and she has been exceptional. she has helped me extremely by putting me on the right course of medicine for me and has offered me support i did not receive from my old surgery. Most definitely recommend!

The worst receptionist team. The male receptionist especially. The phone rings and rings with no one bothering to pick up and when they eventually do, they are rude and sound fed up. They tell you to call at 8am for a same-day appointment - it would be good if they actually picked up the phone?

I’d like to personally thank Lesley Barnes who is one of the nurse practitioners. After opening up about a worry that was concerning me, she saw me face to face within the same day. She is ever so lovely and generally cared which made me feel comfortable to talk to her about some other personal things I’m currently dealing with. She listened to me which made me feel relieved that I have found someone who I can trust as I’ve had very bad experiences from doctors in the past. She is very professional in what she does and I personally would recommend her as this is the second time I’ve had some worries and both times she’s listened, gave good advice, sent me leaflet links and is happy to help if I need to talk to her again. Both times I’ve spoken to her, each conversation lasted longer than I expected which is fantastic because I felt like I can be open without feeling like I have to rush. This is another reason why she’s good at what she does because she generally cares for her patients. So I’d like to thank her as she deserves it.
I’d like to thank Louise as well, she is a very kind nurse who took my blood tests and again very professional and looks after her patients well.
Both receptionists who I sadly can’t remember their names, one was a lady and one was a man. Both times I’ve called they where kind and again professional. Lincoln University Doctors has definitely improved and I hope many patients will say the same.

So hard to book an in person appointment it’s all over the phone and it’s so hard to get through. I went in the other day and asked at reception if I could book there and they said yes. I told them my issue and she then said they only had appointments in two weeks and I had to phone at 8am to get a same day one instead. Do you think if I’m ill I can get up to do that? Just for one call?

I have been unwell for about two months with tonsillitis that has been getting worse and when I told the receptionist this she didn’t seem to care at all.
I understand it is busy and the nurses and doctors I’ve spoken to have been lovely including some of the reception team over the phone however I’m not getting any better and I’m not getting the care I need. Everything is an over the phone appointment and sending photos of what’s wrong (which is hard to capture)

I just want to feel better

Excellent Surgery. I've been to this surgery quite a number of times in recent months and have always found them to be excellent. Appointments have always been within a reasonable time, often within 24 hours. All staff have been friendly, helpful and reassuring. And the treatment has been excellent.

Having had wide experience dealing with other surgeries, including whilst nursing my Father for 10yrs, up to and including his death, this surgery is amongst the best.

Approach this surgery in the right manner and I am confident you will have a good experience.

They failed to twice send out my referral to hospital, delaying my hospital appointment and possibly any treatment. They also had results from a scan for over a week and didn't tell me the outcome. Trying to get through is a nightmare let alone get an actual appointment. I'm surprised to see that the CQC report is "good"
