I have never seen such disgusting behaviour by a medical practice. Yesterday I saw them abuse a patient for asking them why they hadn't yet prepared a prescription that he had requested 2 weeks ago. This is one of many instances of abuse from the staff that I've seen and experienced. There seems to be no one to speak to at the practice who is concerned about providing a better service, the staff member yesterday said to the patient "well if you don't like the service then you should leave". I believe in the NHS and I understand the pressure that they are under. I just don't feel that a practice should be able to behave this way with no consequence and no desire to change. I have contacted the MP in the hopes there may be some possible actions that can take place through that route. If anyone else is having the same issue with the surgery I'd suggest you do the same.

Terrible reception staff. One in particular (if I knew her name I would share it) has got to be the least empathetic person I’ve ever spoken to. Makes you feel like you are doing something wrong just by trying to arrange a doctor appointment. Came across like she didn’t care and clearly didn’t think I should be calling (even though 111 recommended me to) - terrible manner considering she is regularly speaking with sick people who are most likely feeling vulnerable and need support. She needs training or a new job.

Cancelled my repeat prescription without telling me. It is dangerous to stop taking my medication without a reduction. I was not contacted at any point to schedule a review with my GP.

My medication was still being delivered until last month but when I called today to see why it wasn’t delivered this month the receptionist called me a liar and said it was cancelled and my last delivery was in May, which is not the case.

Very upset, distressed, and now at risk because of the poor service.

The reception team now make the decisions before you get to speak to a GP. They are judgmental, rude and I've witnessed many occasions of interactions I class as abusive towards other patients. I don't believe the staff are qualified to make decisions on who gets to see/speak to a GP.
I was missadvised by the practise manager herself which led to a 3week delay getting medication I needed.
There's no compassion from this service. I don't even feel they are approachable anymore.
This has been since new management took over and 2 of the long standing GP's are no longer there, one retired and one moved.
I am looking at other gp practices to move to myself.
I wish I could say this was just my own experience but my partner is also registered with them and calls me stating he has the same horrid experience regularly.
I work full time and pay my taxes and do not like to be made to feel a burden when trying to use this service.

Cannot fault the service I have had so far from this surgery and the Well chemist below. Dr Tom Best was so thorough when examining me and took time to listen. Explained his thought process regarding my problem and booked a follow up appt himself. The practice nurse I saw was also excellent. Referred me to various websites for further reading about dealing with certain conditions. So far so good. Highly recommend

I applied online and received a response the same day. I was directed to contact the surgery for a follow-up question. I called and a receiptionist quickly passed me to someone. The person who questioned me was polite, and when I asked a question, the person who answered was very careful and clear in explaining things. For me, the communication was excellent, and the process was quick and simple.

Just go to another one, it's worth traveling, organisation is awful, doctors are friendly and I don't have anything bad to say against them but if they say "pick something up today, it will be ready by the end of the day" etc
It will be a headache to try and coax them to follow through on their word, things seem to go missing, get misplaced, and staff will happily mutter about you asking reasonable requests as though you've been verbally abusing them.
(Not as under their breath as they might think)
I get the feeling that the unreasonable actions of a few amount to a generalised disdain for the patients as a whole.
It shouldn't feel like us Vs them when you visit your GP.
I understand they have a hard job to do in trying times but the chip on their shoulder needs attention.
