Good doctor good receptionists can’t fault surgery . Been there as long as doctor and he’s seen me go through bereavement. My first grandchild. All my health issues so I don’t think I will find another doctor that knows my history like him. Shame if this surgery goes.

Impossible to book an appointment, they also missed off a very important medication from my prescription that i've been on a very high dose of for four years. I phoned to get a prescription for it and the receptionist didn't seem to care and had a very 'oh well' attitude.

Impossible to get an appointment even after calling 300 times in an hour, the receptionist can be very rude, for some unknown reason it's the only place my career is not allowed with me. The only reason I've given it two stars is because Dr Anwar is amazing.

My partner called up to to ask about booking an appointment, receptionist was immediately rude, refused to talk with her, and hung up on her.

Will be reporting to the HCI, patient care being severely undermined by dissapointing gatekeeping.

One receptionist is quite rude (the younger one is lovely, though), getting an appointment is difficult and often when I do get one, they aren't very helpful. After trying one option to try and learn more about a long term health problem, the doctor asked me what I wanted to do next. I had no idea, I'm not the one who trained for years as a doctor! I was then told I had a condition that there are no tests for, which has no impact on fertility. I didn't think that sounded right, so I googled it and found there are multiple tests that are necessary for diagnosis, and it is the leading cause of infertility in women. Either a blatant lie, or gross incompetence. Not sure which is worse.

I am not sure what is wrong nowadays with NHS practices but this as many other practices isn't good. There is gatekeeping as someone mentioned and there is a bad vibe to patients as well. This isn't just this practice. The average practice is 2 stars.

I would however not blame the all receptionists by this but some of them and some of the doctors. Not all of then fall in the same hole, a few are really good and try to help the patients.

The problem in this practice is aging. Doctors are used to patients knowing nothing, they still think the internet or NHS pages or MayoClinic probably dont exist.

If you have any record from a smart device you will be regarded as a conspiracist.
