I've been with bishops for a little over a year now and they have been extremely helpful.

In my old Doctors practice I would be waiting a long time to be able to see a Doctor, but here I get booked in relatively fast and I think the booking system is just better in general, and maybe my old doctors was overbooked also as it used to be the only one in the area.

The reception is really helpful and supportive and the one lady has helped me a lot, she had me booked in the same day as she could see I was not coping well, I dont know her name though she knows mine (I am extremely bad with names) but she is a life saver!

The doctors are great too, and nurses etc, they make sure they are doing whats best for you and Ive found most of them can answer questions extensively about medications etc which shows that they certainly know what they're doing.

I hope more practices open like this for people around the UK, I feel really lucky to be registered here!

Joined this practice a year ago. So far I have been treated very well by the doctors, Dr Lewis in particular also by the nurses and the receptionists. All of these mentioned have been kind and attentive and I am so happy I transferred as my old surgery is quite a distance away from me. Thank you all.

If you’re new to the area and looking for a doctors surgery, avoid this one unless you’re desperate. They booked and cancelled appointments without telling me and messed me about for 8 weeks - I felt like I had to ring often to check my appointment was still on the date given just incase they’d changed it without me knowing again. This happened several times! Same with phone call appointments, they’ll call you when they feel and if you miss the call that’s your fault - but they won’t let you know that you were due a call because they’d scheduled that in without tell you. I was also prescribed medication which they had forgotten to tell the pharmacy to prepare. I had to go into the surgery and ask them for the medical slip to ask the pharmacy to make up for me.the It’s just embarrassing! The surgery is dated and receptionists are belittling and don’t like people. Every time I visited they’d be some poor person (usually the older generation) who would be upset and I never saw any of the receptionists being kind or helpful which was a hit heartbreaking to see.

Always had a good experience at Bishops Clinic from mainly Dr. Rhys who has always been accurate about my issues

Dr rhys is a brilliant doctor and she has time for u can't thank her enough she has help me though my illness won't no what to do if she ever left the medical centre

Dangerous for me, to just stop taking my medication, don't have much choice, no help with horrid receptionists! My dad has had 3 strokes, so away looking after my parents. Surgery making it so hard for me. Will Contact 111 NHS to complain.

Never answer the phone.!!! Ringing for 30 minutes. Only want blood results. Should have an email address not direct to NHS Wales. If you don't use surgery very often receptionist can be rather rude but is all smiles with the regulars

Receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't let me register because I couldn't remember my NHS number. She wouldn't even accept my form and check my ID and let me add the number later. Not apologetic at all! Also while I was filling out the form in the waiting room I heard her being impatient with other people too. No respect for the fact that I took time out of my day and from work to register. No concern for health needs of patients.
Total disgrace. It cost nothing to be polite!
