The receptionists here are so rude and unhelpful. They think they’re above the patients for one reason or another. Also, they cause a lot of distress to patients regarding repeat prescriptions. I sometimes think, do they think we enjoy this process and enjoy being ill and having to take tablets in the first place??

Only reason I give it 2 stars is because I have a great Dr.

If I were able to say something to the receptionists, don’t tar us all with the same brush and be a lot more sympathetic to the situation.

A handful of the receptionists are pleasant but there is a particular person, I'm sure you all know who it is who is extremely rude and unhelpful, where as common sense must have to come into this job, she has none and she is a typical jobsworth. When a doctor asks you to come back and see them in particular, this particular person (on a monday and a friday when you cannot see the doctor of your choice, unless you get a helpful receptionist) IS NOT PREPARED (which are the exact words she uses) to let you see the doctor who wants to see you again.

Mixed bag of receptionists: some are very helpful, whereas I've encountered one who's exceptionally rude - doctors are generally very helpful though. Would give at least 4 stars for the doctors alone but it's let down by pretty shambolic service.

The doctors are great and most of the receptionist are great however, there is one receptionist in sketty surgery that is very rude and argumentative makes your experience very poor!

The journey at this surgery is sub standard, I also speak for the Killay surgery. The doctors are always fantastic, they are so polite and genuinely want to see their patients get better and I cannot fault them. They are not the first point of contact, however. Every receptionist I have spoken to has been rude and condescending, this goes for the last 2 years where I have needed to call or visit either surgery. I understand that patients can be frustrating to deal with at times, but it is a constant occurrence to be treated rudely. I've experienced this over the phone, in person and have sat in waiting rooms and witnessed this behaviour to other patients too. It's completely unacceptable. I'm sorry to leave such a terrible review this morning, but I have called up today and been interrupted, talked over and generally had another bad experience.

Without exception, the staff here are great. There's a variety of ways to get an appointment or advice from one of the practice team, and if you need a same day appointment, you get one. You can phone, use askmygp or my health online. The best GP practice I've ever had

One word to go with my one star, shambolic! They have multiple days a month where there is NO DOCTOR at the surgery for the WHOLE DAY! In what world is that okay?! They lose prescriptions more often than I would care to think about. They blame everyone else but themselves and suddenly it appears! No apology for the inconvenience. There are 2 receptionists in particular who are more helpful than anyone else but that’s all I can say on a positive note I’m afraid.
