Really like these Drs, they have always sorted out my random body, the vaccine nurse and midwives have the best senses of humor and are very kind and caring. Once I worked out when you can get an appointment, and how the links to the pharmacy work, have had no problems. - have been at surgery for 10ish years.

Had a fairly ok experience with them until now. Only one of the Doctors takes any of my health problems seriously up until now which was fine as he was usually the one I would see anyway. But now after half hour trying to get an appointment I get told 'sorry, emergency appointments only' which again is fine I'm used it but after saying about trying to get through for so long I get told by the receptionist that I can 'always go there for 8am to get an appointment from 8.15am when they open' and after voicing my complains about this she then informs me that the surgery will be walk-in only from 2nd March onwards so after that date you won't even be able to ring for appointments, you'll have to physically go down there at 8am for 8.15am to get an appointment for sometime that day!

Absolutely ridiculous policy and when I asked why there was nothing saying this a few weeks ago I was told its because they only found out LAST WEEK!

A practice that is seemingly not fit for purpose - a view echoed by many reviewers here. Some of the staff seem to have forgotten the 'care' element of healthcare.

Main points of complaint:

1. Clueless (and frankly ignorant) receptionists.
2. Massive wait times.
3. A total lack of professionalism across the board.
4. Patients left feeling belittled and worthless despite being in a crisis.

5. The surgery website refers to 'abusive phone calls' being made on a daily basis - I don't condone this behaviour but I completely understand the patients' frustrations - they are almost certainly asking for assistance in their own time of need and I can imagine they are met with all of the above whilst just trying to seek help.

It doesn't bear thinking about how many patients may have been failed by this establishment - the NHS was once a fine thing, but this place is a prime example of how bad things have become.

The worst In Cardiff. My mum was suffering with Horrible symptoms for over 2years, they would only give her painkillers (treat the symptoms) instead of looking for the reasons behind the those symptoms, never did proper exams, until she was admitted to hospital in the summer because she actually has something serious in her brain and doctors at the hospital could not believe the gp has never done anything about it!
Worst than that once a doctor asked her if she was taking drugs!???! Because she had her eyes red (which was sleep deprivation due to the awful migraines she suffers from).
Even after my mum has been admitted to hospital she is barely receiving any care from this surgery… she also has a problem with her gut which I suspect she’s intolerant to gluten and have been requesting for allergy test or whatever for over a year and nothing is sorted!!! Had enough and having my mum move to my surgery!!

Every receptionist I have spoken to has been very friendly and helpful. The surgery seems to run efficiently.

Absolutely disgraceful tbh..receptionist are rude and un helpful, talk down their noses to you and can't understand the simplest of things you try and explain to them.
198 calls in 40mins for all apps to be gone.been ringing everyday for 5months and still can't see a doctor because what I want to discus isn't "an emergency ".. well when am I supposed to ring to be seen then. Every problem is fixed with deep breathing or yoga'.been a patient here for 30 years and it's absolutely shocking the decline I've seen.when Morgan and alanby were there the standards were much higher...if I could get into a different practice I'd take my whole family off there books...

I found myself well before the covid for 1 year now tremendously unprofessional
