Narberth Health Centre

Attended this surgery with my girlfriend who was having a lot of pain with a possible kidney stone. We were in Wales on holiday and didn’t know where to turn. Not only was she registered as a temporary patient, she was seen then and there within 15 minutes of registering despite a very busy waiting room. Excellent service and the staff who work there are a credit to the NHS!

Phoned with a problem with my eye. Receptionist was uncaring / unfriendly and didn’t want to know how bad the infection / problem in my eye was. She just repeated the doctors can’t give any appointments for eye problems no matter what the problem with the eye is, that I should book an appointment with optician!
I then tried to book an appointment at the only open optician in Narberth who couldn’t give me an appointment for two weeks!!!
I’ve not even been to the doctors for two years... when you need them they aren’t there for you!
Very bad uncaring service!

We had an apprentice have a fit at our premises. We took him to the surgery where he was treated immediately and an ambulance was arranged to take him to the hospital within 20 minutes. The best practise in Wales on the strength of my experience

Sad to see that although the staff are still doing so, several patients aren't bothering to wear facemasks any more. My lovely nurse told me they're no longer allowed to enforce the wearing of masks. Well, for everyone's protection I'm still wearing mine in all healthcare settings! (Have so many people already forgotten how devastating the pandemic has been???)

Reception staff very helpful. Appointments are hard to come by but staff are always willing to help and arrange something.

Absolutely shocking!!! Do not recommend if you have underlying health issues.
I changed to them from England and I have MS but they have let me down massively with Covid - yes I tested positive at weekend but I’ve received no notifications or medication- I booked my own vaccinations (1 of the receptionists mugged me off so I hung up on her) because none of them cared.
I cannot get the anti viral meds I desperately need because they messed around and I’m 1 day late.
I have no support in the area and they have treated me horrendously badly.

This Surgery is warm and welcoming. All the Doctors and Staff are both professional, caring and very friendly.
