Despite chronic underfunding you always manage to provide a first class service. The reception staff are so helpful and clinicians extremely knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for all the care that you provide for my mother .

All staff are great but my god be prepared for hours wasted on the phone trying to get through to them and if thats not bad enough, when you ask for a call back they will ring once and not again, which makes the 2 hours youve wasted calling them a total insult, as they cant be bothered to call back for more than a few seconds. To blame staff turnover is not acceptable either as this begs the question as to why they leave as fast as thet train them. Overall contact is the worst experience ever but the staff when you can get through are amazing.

Great service - always seem to make available a doctor to be seen - best doctors I have ever used

I am relatively new to the practice, sadly I found a particular member of reception staff, rude, unhelpful and inpatient regarding my repeat prescriptions which lead to me having wrong medication and my medication late on 2 occasions in November and December. I am going to write a complaint re this. Brilliant G.P. My appointments have been thorough with good advice/ options discussed. Unfortunately on the telephone for 1hr 3 mins and 45 mins to make appointments for telephone consultations.

I’m really happy with Taff Vale Practice, I tend to get a phone conversation assessment by a doctor on the day I ask for an appointment and am often seen the same day if needed. All the doctors I’ve seen are really helpful and take the time to listen to you but Dr Finnegin is the one I normally see or speak too and he is always so helpful and reassuring. I like that you can request sick notes and repeat prescriptions on the e consult service online. The in house counselling by Liz was really good, the referral took a little while maybe 6 weeks which I was told about but I found all the sessions helped me tackle my anxiety and have felt like this has kept me off requiring mental health medication. There’s so many bad things in the news about GPs but considering the current situation I think Taff Vale practice is doing a good job.

When ever you try to see a doctor it's impossible they never got an appointment for a week or two by then I'll be over my illness. I have wrote a letter requesting to be taken off they're register and even this is hard work. Taff vale practice is a shambles.

Waiting time can be long but when it comes to referrals I've been referred ASAP, I find econsult easier sometimes you don't get a reply till ages but usually a gp does call you back, I've used this to get many appointments much easier than trying to phone and be stuck on the phones ages. I understand the frustration but I think we all need to bare in mind everything is still up in the air at the moment still and go's are very busy and we do need to be patient.

Utterly terrible, spoke to Dr D'arcy a week ago to have my repeat prescription reviewed. She said she would renew it, but did not. Made an emergency appointment with her today to find out why, but she has not contacted me. I have waited 10 hours for her to ring me. Appalling behaviour to lie to a patient and not have the decency to even try and justify it. Avoid at all costs.
