Woodlands Surgery

Doctors and staff are great. It can be tricky to get an appointment but I think this is true of most surgeries these days. It's certainly the best surgery with the best doctors we've ever used.

Absolutely appalled by the way I have been treated today left me crying in agony would not let me see any doctor at all nurse also said trust u to come on a Friday afternoon which it shouldn't matter what day it is did not have the time of day for me didn't even examine me I shall be making a formal complaint I've been in this surgery for 37 years I was told to come up to the surgery I Will be looking to move to a New practice how the hell can people leave u in so much pain and would not let me see any doctor disgusted

The waiting time for your preferred doctor is longer than necessary. For example, if you want an appointment for some time in November, you have to call at the very start of October (when the books are open). Even then you are not guaranteed an appointment (e.g. no availability or the doctor is on leave).

The practice is very popular and busy - but extremely overcrowded with patients.

I like that you can see some available appointments online for the doctors and nurses (i.e. blood pressure and phlebotomy), also, you can order repeat prescriptions. That can help and slightly ease the work on the receptionists by booking yourself in

The receptionists have always been polite and courteous to me. I have my preferred female doctor who has been a Godsend. I have been lucky to engage in a decent doctor/patient relationship with someone who I like and trust. For me, that is key.

Overall, the practice and staff are great but it is not without its flaws.

Been a patient at the Caerau surgery all my life (from when it was in Caerau Road), and I can honestly say everyone tries to do their best for you, professional and friendly - outstanding practice.

Very happy with the service today. Thorough consultation, all were very kind and helpful. Felt safe and advised.

Excellence service at all times, good doctors and good staff.

Until the dreaded answering machine took over all staff jobs, this practice was excellent. Now however you have to wait for roughly half hour to get an answer.
