Been with Ringland for many years, great team of receptionists they all do there best to help, very polite and helpful. I've never had an issue, it was nicer to have a regular GP but even so.. all GPs and Locums are lovey. Thanks 😊

This GP practise will not answer our calls, we have been registered at this GP for over 10 years but have not experienced anything like this until the past 4 years, previously I had to make an appointment for myself but they gave me fake number and fake doctor name and blocked my number from the system when I confronted them about the situation.

UPDATE
over a year now since this review and my number is still blocked, I have developed Contact Dermatitis and only need a topical steroid cream (from what I have been told) was on the phone for over an hour today (mums number) and still no luck, as a family we have struggles with this GP now for over 5 years, the treatment you get here is absolutely ridiculous, it’s BS.. also, I highly advise staying away from this GP if you’re not white/British, the receptionist will automatically ban your number, I have heard several situations about this happening to people with this receptionist/GP.

Can’t fault the doctors though, when you eventually get through to them they are amazing and do their best to help you.

This shouldn’t even read 1 * but Google makes you put something.
My experience is much like everyone else’s. In my 34 years I’ve never received such an awful service. I’m not in empathetic to the fact that they’re clearly a busy doctors surgery BUT I am shocked by just how terrible this surgery is.
The receptionist I seem to get when I eventually get through is rude. She asks what’s wrong then talks over you as you try to explain. You just seem to be an inconvenience to them.
We registered here in December and god I wish we hadn’t. A few things we have had the pleasure of experiencing is them repeatedly getting my husbands repeat prescription wrong. He’s told them numerous times and has just given up now. I tried to get an emergency appointment and was told the doctor had tried to call me back and surprise ... they hadn’t. We had to pay £500 for me to get a private GP appointment in the end. Makes you wonder why you should have to pay taxes to have to go private in the end because you can’t get them to answer the phone let alone get an appointment.
Have tried since to get an appointment with no joy.
It really does make you wonder how many people who need an accessible surgery so can’t just swap to another surgery don’t even try to get appointment for not wanting the hassle or to be treated as an inconvenience. If this was any other business it would be closed. Someone really needs to do something about this and I genuinely believe they will have deaths on their consciences. We are in the process of swapping surgeries. Hopefully it doesn’t take long.

Not even 1 star an awful service. Please avoid this Doctors Surgery. Nothing but stress.
Receptionist rude, poor/no service and certainly don't answer the phone. After 3 days of ringing I went over to the surgery and was shouted at by a very rude staff member receptionist. "She shouted it people like you, stops me answering the phones" I explained I have tried for days with no success. I asked to request an appointment for bloods to be taken. Receptionist "I don't deal with that the nurse do you will have a long wait". I waited in the rain for an hour and gave up. It six months later and I have had no bloods taken. I have attempted to ring but still no success and I don't won't to go over to the surgery again.

I would like to say I am very grateful for the help of one individual at this surgery, my mum is a patient at this surgery. Her name is Kerry and she is a receptionist. She is a fantastic lady who always goes that extra mile to try her best to help you. She is always helpful, understanding and cheerful , despite how difficult it is working in this job. At a time when GP services are stretched to the limit. This wonderful lady always does her best to help and I have to give praise where it's due. She is an asset to this surgery.

This surgery is a joke.
After 2 day of trying to get through to the surgery after over 150 calls each day mind you we finally get through. We ask to speak to a mental health doctor and was told we would get a callback. No call back and No missed calls or voicemail left. Called back in the afternoon to ask when the call would be and they say it's been made and no answer. And so he would have to call back tomorrow to be put on the list again. I have now had to call 111 who will be calling my son back within 2 hours. If this was someone calling who has no support and is having suicidal thoughts then you will no doubt have a suicide on your conscience. Absolutely disgusting service. Wouldnt have even left 1 star but cant post without adding one.

Terrible doctors! Some of the reception staff are very rude. I was extremely poorly, experiencing double vision, being sick every 5 minutes, dizziness and experiencing head pain. I was told the day before I had an sinus infection but the following day the anti sickness tablets and antibiotics would not stay down due to being sick. This was explained to the doctor by my mother and was promised a phone call back. We never received a call back, in which I ended up being taken to hospital that night with meningitis. This is absolutely unacceptable, I was lucky but someone else might not have been. I am now transferred to another doctor surgery as I don't trust the care at ringland!

Terrible surgery, most staff just don't seem to want to help. I hate having to contact them and only do if absolutely necessary and it's the same every time.
IF you can convince the receptionist (who think they are medical trained experts) that you are worthy to see a Dr, that's only half the battle! You then have to wait for a callback or a appointment that might never come!
Gone are the days where your Gp knew you personally, would know your history and would help you accordingly.
