I really want to leave this surgery but I'm afraid my medication would get messed up. The receptionists and nurses are fine but the doctors are the worst. Zero empathy over the phone, they talk over you, are audibly frustrated when you try to explain your situation, and don't even try to be referred for anything! Despite what the NICE Guidelines say, these doctors make their own rules and that is to be as unhelpful as possible.
Surely it can't be worse than this elsewhere...?

Edit: Dr Narula was brilliant. But he's gone now.

Horrendously bad doctors, staff are uncaring and just turn up so they can get paid.
Ive spent months trying to get my regular prescription and subsequently have spent £1000's on private prescriptions

Whereas it is easy to be critical of waiting to get through on the phones, when you do then reception does their best to help in difficult times with recruitment /replacement so hard. I do wish to say that Dr Jadoon has been brilliant treating my mother Audrey Morgan of late. After thoroughly reviewing her records in advance each time he has been so kind and caring in his treatment, and wise in his advice. He could not have done more each time. Alison has also been brilliant, and always so cheerful ! Jon Morgan.
Just today, 11th October, needed to get advice on my mother's legs as worried they were deteriorating. Rang up and was 8th in the queue, but wasn't long before I got through to a very helpful receptionist, who listened respectfully and took in all the details and kindly made an appointment to see Dr Jadoon again for 2 hours later. Yet again Dr Jadoon was welcoming and caring and did not rush the consultation, and again his advice was practical and sound, and we left reassured again. He is a great GP....and I've met a lot of them, and few as good as him !

You have to wait an hour and a half to get through, then get cut off and asked to phone back later!!!! How much longer are they going to say 'we have an unprecedented number of calls! Sort it out. This is dangerous. You have patients who may need urgent help!!!!

I can honestly say I’d rather suffer with whatever ailment I have than to have to contact this surgery- Bryngwyn should be ashamed that I am willing to admit that. “Contact” being used lightly as you can almost never get through. When you do get through the GPS (not receptionists) are rude and rush you through the call/ appointment, it’s an awkward moment because you can never really get your true point across because you’re not given the time before the GP interrupts or literally hangs up once they’ve said their piece. Yes. This happens. There’s absolutely no duty of care. It’s a revolving door for them. Get in get seen get out and get paid. Twice this year I’ve been in touch with my troubles and been given an appointment 3 weeks down the line when the ailment I have needs treatment now. Once I broke down in tears because they claimed they didn’t have any space before then. Then miraculously I got a call the same day. When I haven’t been able to get through I’ve tried the online questionnaire service only to get “book an appointment” as the response from the clinician. It’s your job to take care of us when we need it and you’re doing the worst possible job at it.

I really don’t know anymore what to do with this surgery. It’s months that I’m trying to get an appointment, and I get bounced from one department to another. They give you a phone appointment weeks away and then in that appointment they give you another appointment. It’s a endless cycle and I don’t get anywhere. I’m considering go private but it’d be a significant expense for me. What’s the point of paying for the NHS with our taxes if we can’t have a minimum of service? I’m desperate. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ll keep on trying because I don’t have alternatives, but it’s a very bad situation, I’m just moaning online to take out some stress and anguish ‘cause at least it’s free.

I've been a patient for 15 years and have had great treatment up until recently. Nurses are great doctors since Dr Nurula left just come across as uninterested and just want to get you out the door. New phone system is diabolical! The handful of times I've called since then (outside of peak hours might I add) I have never been able to get through despite being on hold for an hour on both occasions. The emails get answered usually within a couple of day but that's no good when you have a sick child or need to speak to someone urgently. Might I recommend that the surgery employs someone for front desk and a couple of people to take calls and deal with emails? ... This would reduce any hostility of patients being angry and frustrated at the lack of service they are getting.
